We were over at the lake Friday and Saturday and decided to try Frankie's Friday night. Once you figure how to get there (winding road off 280, couple of turns, then a walk through the condo building), it's a nice little restaurant. Our stomachs were on Georgia time, so when we got there, only one customer was there at the bar. I don't eat red meat, so I had a salad and baked potato, but my wife had the best rib eye she has had in a long time. The server (owner) told us she picked the steaks up that day and had them cut just that afternoon. It was a 16 oz. cut reasonably priced and my wife thought she'd have some to take home (not - she ate it all). We weren't the only customers for long - when we left the place was full and with no help, the owner had it by herself. We got there just in time to beat the rush and the food was worth it. I recommend.

Thanks. We will give it a try. We pass right by nearly every Friday as we come from Atlanta and have never tried. Would be a good stop for dinner and they head to the house.

We ate there last night. My wife had the salad and I had the ribeye. Good food at a good price.
