Last night my wife and I ventured out to Prattville, AL to visit with Steve, Dee Dee and Steven (Steve's son) and make our first ever visit to the Cathouse Marine Shop and all I can say is WOW his website does not do the place justice.

As you walk in there is a huge room with a bar, numerous big screen Plasma TV's, a beautiful 36' Skater and a recently rebuilt finally tuned 500hp motor on a motor stand. Then off the side is the bosses office (and we all know who the boss is). As you venture out the back of this room there is a shop for working on boats and the engine rebuilding room with 2 boats being currently being worked on.

Outside there must have been 12 boats or so currently being serived by Cathouse and these boats were all top of the line boats which I am sure these folks only trust to a top notch shop and boating enthusistist.

As we are sitting there talking to Steve and Dee after our tour of the shop I venture over to the 2 antique slot machines and try my luck and on the forth pull of the metal bandit I hit BAR BAR BAR and lights begin to go off and a siren begins to blare and Steve it sitting there in awe. I asked Steve what is going on and he is speechless (a first for Cat) and Dee Dee says you have just won a 2007 Avalanche LTZ. Yes folks I left Cathouse with the truck (and Dee Dee will attest to such) and if we would have had a camera I would be posting pictures of my new truck as we speak.

Steve and Dee are great folks and now that I have the truck I will be venturing back to Cathouse in late March with my Mastercraft to have it tuned, summerized and detailed as based on my visit this is a first class operation run by good folks !!!

Thanks again Steve and Dee for a tour of Cathouse and the truck I am still in awe over our visit and your hospitality.

PS - As we were heading to Cathouse I called Steve and told him we were about 10 minutes away and he said great as he was cooking some alligator and other stuff. Upon our arrival Steve greeted us and gave us the tour. Then I noticed that it was not in fact Steve cooking the alligator, but in fact Dee Dee was. So next time Steve says he is cooking something I would no beleive him as I now know (which I had supsected all along) that Dee Dee is in fact the boss, brain of the shop, cook of the Cathouse Marine and the pretty one for sure. Thanks again guys for a great visit/tour, seeing good friends again and the new truck. We had a great time and will see you guys again very soon.

Thanks for the kind words. It was fun to visit with you. Also, I appreciate your business with your vehicle purchase(for those that don't know, I work for a car dealership as well). I am glad you came to Cathouse, and enjoyed having a few cold ones with you. I wish I had my camara yesterday. As for the cooking, you did not want to get sick did you?
