Since we are assured by the "experts" that the planet only has a few years before we all DIE, without any scientific evedince to prove their theory, I have a plan to finance the fight against Climate Change.  Since the exanding ice caps are melting and we are told that seal levels will rise to the level of flooding all the beaches and major cities along all of our coast the government should seize all property below say 25ft above sea level.  It's going to be under water and worhless soon anyway so why not just condem it and move on.  Then the Government can turn around and sell all that property on the open market to skeptics that are willing to gamble that the cataclismic sea level rises won't really affect them at all.  Think of the billions, hell maybe trillions of new revenue that the politicians could squnader and launder back to them and their family all while "saving the planet", you know, "for the kids" and democracy of course.

Pros:

1. Satisfies the tax the rich crowd. Most beach proerty is woned by wealthy people.

2. Will add Trillions to the economy as folks by and flip the properties.

3. All of New Orleans  and large portions of other cities could be bought and totally redeveloped.  Except Port Author, TX, nobody would buy that excrement hole and it should be left to return to nature.

4.  It would reduce CO2 substantially because rich liberals couldn't be jetting in for weekends, at least not until their politricians buddies sell it back to them for pennies on the dollar in the best interest of economical development and employment, and fo course for the children.

Cons:

1. Some radicals, terrorists, and patriats might not want to give up thier property and leave requiring the government unleash angry mobs of liberals, BLM, Antifa mostly peacefull protesters to persuade them.

2. What do you mean?  Their are no cons.

This is by no means a complete and comprehensive plan or list of pros and cons.  Please free to offer your own thoughts with as much snark as you can manage.

These rising sea levels will not be a danger to any islands along the coast, since the Hank Johnson theory postulated the only danger would be from tipping over from too much weight.  All inhabitants can continue to live there, but no additional migrants can come ashore...you know, the weight thing!  Fine tune your plan after you finish the yard work.

When I have been confronted by a climate nut job that claims that we only have x years left I ask them if they are certain.  If they say yes, then I immediately ask them to enter into a contract with me that I get all their assets as of that date.  I mean, after all what difference does it make if we are gonna die anyway, amiright?  Funny thing........not one of them has taken me up on the offer. 

They know the hysteria is complete bovine excrement.  They know that all these prognostications of doom are phony baloney.  They just want to scare the gullible into thinking its actually true and a crisis.  And how are they doing in that effort?  Recent Gallup poll had all of 1% of respondents stating that climate change is their number one priority......1%......which just about covers all the wealthy liberal elites that have multiple mansions and travel around in SUVs and private planes that claim to care so much about the planet.  Of course they are excluded from the impact of globaloney....they are far too important to give up their lavish lifestyle....they're "doing their part" by using their celebrity and wealth to educate and influence the ignorant masses.  Well it ain't working.  We see through their hypocrisy and tell them to GFY.

If you believe in anthropomorphic global warming (AGW), you agree to sign a lifetime contract with your belief in AGW as its governing clause. Such that:

1. You must own your home. (no government subsidy)
2. You must disconnect from the power grid and power your home using only wind generation and solar panels purchased by you without any government subsidy.
3. You may not have a fireplace, woodstove, gas grill, charcoal grill, or any other heat generating device which emits carbon compounds.
4. You must forfeit ownership of any vehicle, lawn equipment, or power tools not powered by electricity.
5. You must retain any batteries after their useful life.
6. You cannot eat meat or wear any leather products (methane abatement).
7. You must swear allegiance to the Democratic Party and vote ONLY Democratic.
8. Your children must be educated in public school or you must put them up for adoption.
9. If you violate ANY of the above clauses, you are required to relocate you and your family to any communist country and renounce your US citizenship (and we the people will be happy to pay any renunciation fees).
10. You may not own a firearm (nobody will want what you have anyway).

Tom Clancy wrote a book a good while ago about climate change extremists/terrorists and all the things they would do to force what the left loonies are advocating now.  I wish I coud remember the name of the book but its ending was incredibly just.  

There are real environental extremists now who drive long nails/spikes into trees so the sawblades in the sawmill would be destroyed when hitting the spike.  First of all, they shoud be prosecuted for theft because of the monetary damage to the tree owner, but more importantly they need to be prosecuted for reckless endangerment because the saws run so fast and so powerfully that the blade literally explodes when hitting the nail and can severely injure or kill a mill worker.

Update:  The Clancy book is titled "Rainbow Six"
