Admittedly this study was covered in the NYT so it could be completely wrong.....but I had to laugh anyway.  Boy does that fit our left wing posters here to a tee. 

So here's the question.....are liberal men unhappy or are unhappy men liberal?  Maybe it's both.  Cue Goofy to tell us about Trump's 30,000 lies while all the left wing nuts post about how happy they are. 

As for me, it makes me happy to see a study confirm my life experience....liberals (men and women) are generally speaking the most unpleasant, unhappy, vitriolic, doom and gloomers on the planet.  They are the ones driving around in their car or outdoors all by themselves wearing three masks and screeching at others who aren't.  They're the ones rioting and looting in all these big cities, shooting at the National Guard, and so on.  So I'm gonna say it......like a blind squirrel finding an acorn the NYT actually got one right.

That is probably true.  It appears to me that Liberals seem to believe that they must solve all of the problems of the world - and they don't have that ability.  They take social injustice, immigration, climate change, pollution, etc all on their shoulders and that is a lot to carry around, so naturally they are unhappy because the world won't conform to their expectations.  Now why the men would be more unhappy than women?  I have no idea really.

I watched the Right display their form of happiness as they rioted and took over the Capitol. The Right finds happiness  marching in Charlotsville VA and attacking police with bear spray. Yes, Martini has all the answers to happiness.

Interesting the Left is happy wearing two masks and the Right is happy carrying torches in VA. Strange time we live in.

Difference between smart and dumb. Look at all the dumb idiots who stormed the Capitol without masks and now sit in prison awaiting trial...just think, Antifa would have worn masks. Maybe 2 masks...one for COVID and one to hide behind. You need to plan ahead and think before you blindly play follow the leader to the Capitol.

As for the riots, let's do a small temporal comparison.  How many right wing riots have there been over say, the last two years (not rallies....actual riots)?  I can count exactly one and it wasn't much of a riot compared to burning cities, looting and so on.  Now as for the unhappy liberals there have literally been dozens, including a bunch this week alone.  And when the jury comes back in the Chauvin case and he is convicted let's see how many right wing protests there will be.  I predict exactly none.  But if he is acquitted or even convicted of a much lower crime we can count the number of Democrat led cities will be subject to rioting.  I can assure you it will be dozens.  And there will be fires, there will be violence, there will be looting, there will be shootings........none of which happened in DC I might add.

It may also be that other studies have shown they have lower levels of testosterone.  I guess drinking soy lattes and sitting around in one pice PJ's until noon will do that to you.  I still wonder if liberalism doesn't attract unhappy people because they always seem so mad all the time, feeling oppressed and fixating on problems that the government can never solve.  Not sure I understand the reason, just that it fits my experience with them.

I am merely reporting on the results of a study presented in an article in the NYT......not making a generalization.  And I indicated that anecdotally that was my experience with liberals....not every one of them, but more often than not.  Far too many of them are unhappy, bitter and angry.....far more than conservatives according to this particular study and my personal experience.

But I would agree that in general all generalizations are false....including this one.

Probably stated by some unhappy liberal.....the reality is it's the other way around, secure, masuline, confident men are drawn to the Republican party because they believe in personal responsibility, liberty and the freedom to do what you ought and not just what you want.  The Democrats don't offer any of that and in fact all they have to offer is to promise to rob Peter (secure, masculine, confident conservatives) to pay Paul (latte sipping soy boy whiners and complainers). 

Pretty bad that when the only way to sell your product is to bribe people to buy it.....but as long as you're using other people's money why not, right?
