The resignation came a day after Falwell issued a statement to The Washington Examiner publicly disclosing that his wife had an affair and saying the man involved had been threatening to reveal the relationship “to deliberately embarrass my wife, family, and Liberty University unless we agreed to pay him substantial monies.”

Yes it is.  And I am sure he will resign soon to avoid the inevitable expulsion by the Board of Trustees.  This must be very embarrasing for the university, but they need to cut their losses at this point.  They can all work on the forgiveness/redemption drill going forward.  I guess we do reap what we sow, afterall.

The same evangelical followers and leaders who are shocked and disgusted by Falwell's behavior and calling for his head saying he unfit to lead a Christian ''University'' will be sitting in front of their TV tonight and 3 following nights whooping and hollering for a man with an even more sordid life history to get 4 (?12) more years leading a our nation....... I guess he got caught up in a black mail scheme, because of his wife's affair.  I think I head on the news tonight that he will be stepping down from the University position.  Why is it these religious guys always seem to get caught up in sex scandals?  You would think they would see how these things have gone for others - need to put it out there, and seek redemption.

According to the guy that was allegedly blackmailing them.  I think what this shows is that like all of us, he was a weak and sinful man in need of redemption.  The biggest mistake he made was to be on the right, were he a liberal Democrat this would be a resume enhancer.  But since we have values he was forced to resign.  Must be nice to not have values.....you can do anything and never be called a hypocrite.

about Tara Reade and Stormy Daniels and the Trump sex tape and all of Trump’s other accusers and compare the credibility with and holes in their stories.  That’s a comparison if done without bias I would welcome any day!

Now Tara Reade has so many holes in her story it looks like the the Lusitania but with Trump we have his own words and cancelled checks.  The fact that you are so disturbed by one and elect the other president makes my point.....hypocrit!!
