Trump has asked China to investigate Biden. He opened his mouth when he should have shutup. I expect he plans to lower tariffs if they provide dirt. While we know the Senate will not vote for impeachment, he does deserve to be thrown out.

He is also dragging Pence along with him.

Trump has lost his mind with the call out to China.  But he right that Pelosi is letting Schiff run wild to the point they are not following their own procedurses.  I sat and read all those Texts today, and then I hear people on the news talking about it and I'm not sure we read the same stuff.  I saw nothing "explosive" or "shocking".  Just some people who happen to be trying to support the President talking about how they were going to get the President of Ukraine and the POTUS together in a phone call and then in a meeting.  

For the record, Trump is well within his rights to ask the President to deal with corruption in the Ukraine, before they get their security assistance.  Ukraine does not have the best reputation.  The Charge D'Affairs is the one that brought up holding up the assistance for political campaign, and he was quickly corrected by the Ambassador to the EU, that Trump had made it crystal clear there was to be no Quid Pro Quo.  He ended the text by saying that they should not be going back and forth on text, likely before the Charge would keep insisting that this was the case.  

The only thing that stinks in all of this is Rudy Guiliani.  Who knows what he said or implied.  He claims he was coordinating with State, but who knows if that is true.  The only thing I think is that Trump should jettison Rudy, the sooner the better.  I keep saying and I stand on this, at the end of the day Rudy is going to hang Trump out.  Remember that at on time Rudy wanted to be the SecState and he was passed over for Tillerson.

The ones I read indeed discussed getting Trump and Zelensky together, but the ones I read also discussed exactly what expected from Zelensky in the way of ''investigations'' in return.  Did you miss those parts Hound?  I do heartily agree with you that trump has lost his mind...I suspect we do not agree as to when.

He was doing Trumps business as his attorney before Barr was approved as AG.  Folks should know the facts which are presented by the networks and not the noise from the fake news.  Prior to Barr testimony before Congress about the mueller report No one other than Rudy was investigating foreign interference.  barr said he thought there had been spying going on and he would investigate.

People have since the beginning of time used private eyes and/or attorneys to conduct investigations.  Why would a president use a private attorney to investigate matters when he has the nsa, fbi, cia, etc?  There is a deep state that controls government, the swamp.

Rudy was on with Howard Kurtz this morning and was completely out of control.  He definitely needed a xanax, talking on and on in a very strident manner and even talking over Kurtz when Howard tried to move on to the next question.  You would have thought the interview was being conducted by Chris "Tingling Up My Leg" Matthews or Rachel Madcow.  Rudy even went aftrer Kurtz, who seems to be pretty even-handed in his questioning of Left and Right.  Rudy should calm down else the old saying "Guilty dog barks loudest" might come into play.

I often wonder if he is on drugs.  Saw a very reasonable Senator Blunt on Face the Nation today - Margaret Brennen wasn't even listening to what he said - I could tell by the look on her face she was only thinking what she would say next.  He said that everyone should wait until all the facts are out before there is a rush of judgement.  Of course, she then had 2 Democrats on to damn Trump.  

Then I turned on Georgh Stephanopouis - his roundtable had one Republican and 3 Democrats   And they wonder why we say the media is biased.  One Democrat said that Republicans should stop looking at this through a political lens... LOL

If Democrats weren't out to get Trump, they would interview Hunter Biden and ask him why a company would pay him $50K a month when he had no ties to the country and no background in their product - and why he would want to work for a company with a long legacy of corruption when his father claims he was fighting corruption in that country.  

Democrats are insisting that "everyone" (except Trump's base) is for impeachment, yet his approval rating is barely moving.

This week I was watching CBS This morning. They had a financial analyst on to talk about market volatility.  She explained that it had to do with uncertainities in trade and a global slow down in manufacturing.  The host aske her if it wasn't because of the ruckus in Washington (like all media people seemed to think), but she said - it was really on trade and manufacturing.

Well if Rudy is screwing up whatever defense he hopes to give Trump because he can't control his ''enthuasium'', how is that any less reason for not deep sixing him than doing so because he is nuts (I still think he is a certifiable lunatic)?  Trump had no trouble throwing Rick Perry, who was no more helpful nor harmful than a chipped marble statue, under the bus, why not Rudy who is Adam and Nancy's best witness?  Look, I hope Rudy stays where he is and talks til he is is hoarse...He is doing more harm to Trump than any Democrat and that suits me just fine.
