Have you seen the claims by the Israeli scientist to have a complete cure for cancer in year or so. I've read a couple of stories so far. One got to tecnichal for my 6th grade education real quick and the other took several paragraphs to get there. The claims seemed very credible to me but the science was above my understanding. I believe you are a surgeon not an oncologist but wondered if you have any thoughts or opinions on the matter.

From what I have read, the Phage homing process has been around for at least a decade.  The difficulty is trying to keep these molecules from getting destroyed by clever cancer cells, which have numerous types and subtypes, which in a non peer reviewed article, the Israeli scientists say they can do.  Going from a mouse experiment to human clinical trials is a very long, tedious, obstacle filled process that takes much time.  Could they be on to something? Perhaps.  But those in the field of oncology will wait until their results are accepted and published in a scientific journal before getting too excited.  Don't get me wrong, I know too little to be a skeptic, but there is a long road ahead in my opinion.

I understand. It was news reports I was reading and I figure if they could prove it worktoday it would still be ten years probably before it would be available. From what I read they started research in 2001working in a different direction but kinof stumbled onto the current methodology and have refined it to what they have today. Hopefully it pans out.

Now wanna bet whether goofy or archy is the first to find way to weave their TDS into the thread.
