I got up at 6:10 and found we were out of corn flakes.  It had stopped raining so I walked the block and a half to our 24 hr super market to buy a box.  Lo and behold since l was walking and didn't have my driver lic ID I was not allowed to buy the corn flakes!  Had to come home and drive back with proper ID in order get my breakfast...very frustrating!!

Wake up America!!

In the furture stick to Rice Krispies. I never had a problem at neighborhood Wal Mart unles it was Corn Flakes. The reason I was told is that corn is grown for ethanol and any other use requires an ID.

Yeah it could be.  I'm sure Trump is in his diaper with the BIG safety pin when he goes to the store and has to show his ID to get his Cap'n  Crunch and Frosty Flakes.

You are OK with having to return home to get an ID to buy cornflakes but totally oppose anyone having to show ID to vote. That makes perfect sense to me, Not!

And of course you wont respond to me because you pretento have me on ignore but are stupid to not respond to posts below me in thread. Of course those of us with connected brain cells know that is impossible.

Cash works without ID.

Assuming he needed ID for his credit card, since it was his local store you would think he would probably be aware of a policy by now and when he left home to walk to the store he decided to just get his credit card out of his wallet to stick in his pocket and just decided to leave the wallet behind already knowing store policy.

I feel sorry for the cashier who told him he could not have it, seeing what we see here I can only imagine his response when he was refused what he wanted.

I can only imagine that his "corn flakes" was probably more like corn licquor for breakfast which would make this whole situation much more believable.

edited - another option I had not considered above was he needed the ID for foodstamps/WIC - which you would think he would also be aware of the need for ID.

Some of us here in central Alabama have trouble understanding your frustration.  Are they now making meth in downtown Atlanta with corn flakes and bananas and requiring an ID?  Do you not have enough cash on hand to buy a box of cereal?  Were you trying to write a check in this technological age?  Did you not carry your billfold on your walk for fear of getting mugged? Why did you drive back spewing that CO2?  Or do you drive a Prius?  Give us the whole story so we can feel your pain!

Kroger was listening Wednesday when Dear Leader defended requiring a lot of ID including a picture in order to vote by pointing out that ''you need an ID to buy a box of cereal.''  I guess he must have rammed in a cereal emergency executive order!!

Of course Rick ''I'm so holy'' Santorum defended him by claiming he meant to say ''cough medicine'' rather than ''cereal''!  HUH???

The Dear Leader and Commander in Chief is an idiot and it is getting scary!!

Wake up America!!!

I guess I missed that breaking news story.  However, since you gave Obama a pass on "57 states", I think I'll give Trump a pass on "Snap, Crackle and Pop."

AU...you have such little confidence in Trump's ability to govern that you set a VERY low bar for him. Those of us on the Proud Left set a high bar for Obama. He did screw up when he said 57 states. Let's see....Trump 6,197  Obama 1. Oh wait Obama 2, he did say you can keep your doc.

Time to raise the bar...the last 2 years have been a pass for you and the Deplorables. Now, with the Dems in charge of the House...that low bar is going bite Trump's butt.

I see  Aubern Universiy  beat up on Falwell's Lberty Univ 53-0.  Next week is the real season..Good Luck.

Since our opening win over Washington in Atlanta, the "Gus Bus" has sputtered along and is in need of a serious overhaul.  That work won't be completed by next week-end, and the Tuscaloosa pachyderms will most likely prevail.

Well, at least you will be to use your toilet paper for its intended purpose.
