Well, well, well.....we all knew someone in the Obama administration was responsible for the leaking of the names of private individuals caught up in incidental conversations with targeted persons.  But even I did not think it would be traceable to someone that high in the administration.  Bloomberg has done some very good reporting on this and now I completely understand why Nunes went to the Old Exec office building to confirm that she had in fact requested this information.  I suspect this is going to blow up in the Democrats faces and better explains Obama's relative silence on this whole brouhaha.

Apparently his source told him it was her way back in January.  That this wasn't leaked to the so called press is pretty much amazing to me.  I suspect he realized that the mainstream media would ignore it and he is pretty much been proven correct.  Other than Bloomberg, FoxNews and the NY Post there has been an almost total embargo with the Democrat party Pravda (cBS, nBS, aBS, etc.).  Put the shoe on the other foot and this would be wall to wall with Wolfe Blitzer having an on screen orgasm over the shocker.  What did the President know and when did he know it?  Is this related to his last ditch efforts to have intelligence shared with a bunch of unrelated agencies?  Lots of questions and with all the backtracking on the Russian collusion fiasco this has all the appearance of blowing up in their faces.

Prediction......weeks or months of stonewalling, media complicity, then the predictable, this is old news.....at this point what does it really matter....  So predictable.......

I have met Susan Rice several times.  She was the protege of Madeline (not so) Albright, who put her as a bureau head at the tender age of 32.  And therein lies the problem - she was promoted too fast and had not developed the judgement that comes with experience.  She is known for being pretty direct - to the extent she was replaced as the US UN Ambassador as she was not diplomatic enouogh.  Next she finds her as NSA.  She wasn't great at that job either and didn't get along with various people in the Administration. 

The interesting thing about her is that she is independently wealthy in her own right from a sizable inheritence. 

So given her history, it doesn't suprise me.  She doesn't have good judgement.  And Obama looked the other way.

My name for her is Madeline Halfbright....never have I heard as many stupid things said by a high level diplomat than I heard from her while she was in govt and since.  Only Joe Biden has said more dumb things, but he sets a pretty high bar in that regard....or maybe a low bar depending on your perspective.  Heard on the radio today that she was the Typhoid Mary of the Obama administration.  She lied repeatedly and she probably needs to lawyer up on this one.  Her denial a month ago and her criticism of Nunes rings pretty hollow now and she needs to be prepped for an invite to the Senate and House Foreign Intelligence committees.

Interesting question that needs to be asked all around is who and how many times others in govt requested the unmasking of Americans incidentally caught up in this form of surveilance.  Apparently it is extremely rare.  Her problem is that regardless of the reason, people like Flynn were outed through illegal leaks and it looks like she is the nexus for that information.  Hard to believe she is that dumb......OK, I take that back, based on her hsitory she is that dumb and duplicitous.

Just read from Cernovich that both Bloomberg and the NY Times have had the story but would not run it because it would hurt Obama and help Trump.  They viewed it as vindication of Trump's claim that he was "wiretapped".  Also recognized that it could be a huge scandal for the Obama admin.....it certainly is.  Bloomberg ran it belatedly after Cernovich ran the story first.  Of course the NYT still refuses to run it which is why the Grey Lady is dying a slow death of fake news and spiked news.

I can understand the shenanigans prior to the election because they were so sure of hillarys coronation and felt invincible, but to continue after the election just shows a hubris beyond comprehension. They had to know it would all come to light. Or maybe they felt that with the media behind them they could sweep it all under the rug and go about their merry business of Destroying America as we know it. They were the most corrupt group of thugs to ever occupy our White House as history will prove out.

FUnny that all the "demonstrating" Aka rioting has ceased since Trump took over. There was one instance right around the inauguration where some "youths" tried to block traffic in NYC I think and as soon as the police showed up the order to "take them down" came and they were all immediately swept up and carted off to cheering crowds. I haven't heard of another instance since then.. It seems crowd control is pretty easy when you don't have to worry about the DOJ prosecuting you for "civil rights violations".

I don't have a problem with anyone serving jail time if they have been found guilty under the law. What I do have a problem with is anyone who considers themselves above the law and escapes prosecution because of who they are or have connections that keep them from receiving the same treatment that you or I would receive in a similar situation. I don't think there is anyone that can honestly and logically believe that Hillary didn't break the law numerous times but was never held accountable.

For what?  What exactly do you think they did that violated U.S. laws and what is your evidence?  

To me that is the most interesting aspect of this whole rigamarole. Despite all the leaks there has been not one that documents any illegal activity on the part of anyone in the Trump transition team and administration. Does anyone believe that if there was evidence of criminal activity that it would not have already been leaked?  So far the only criminal activity that has been documented was the leaking of national security information.  We now know who asked for that information and now we need to find out who among the 140 people that had access to it actually leaked it.  That person or persons should be indicted and if convicted, sent to prison.

Flynn lost his job not for talking to the Russians, but for misleading the President and VP about those conversations.  I have zero problem with senior members of the transition team talking to foreign diplomats.  To me that is smart and getting ahead of the game.

By the way, how's the weather in Bradenton?  Pretty nasty here today.
