In a statement, CNN said it was "completely uncomfortable with what we have learned about her interactions with the Clinton campaign while she was a CNN contributor."

for those who may not remember this is the person who was passing on the questions to Clinton in regards to the debates.

as for the rest I represent those comments gladly and have been called much worse by democrats - I do not have to take back my words often or have to clarify myself.  I do not have to remember my lies.  I do not care for the politicans put forth, but have to make a choice of the lesser of evils.  

I fear Putin less then our own government because at least I know his motives and tactics.

Yes it was sarcasm, but words only hurt if I let them, and unlike some I do not use them as an excuse for my behavior.  My father spanked me when I deserved it, and the few times I did not deserve it - I look at it now as punishment for the crap I did get away with.

Reid is saying that he has been told the FBI has evidence of possible collusion between the Trump campaign and the Russian government. And he’s not just saying this information came from mysterious and unnamed national security officials; he’s saying Comey himself has left him with this impression.

The problem with Reid's allegation? It's just not true

I am so disgusted by CNN, Donna Brazile and Hilary Clinton.  I'm sure the Clinton lovers will find a way to say that the question was offered to her but she didn't take it....  I don't know why she needed it, because that was the debate where Anderson Cooper threw her softballs and let her talk as long as she wanted. 

As far as the drought - were you here in 2007 when it was possbile to walk the lake bed in a lot of places?  We were in the process of building our house, and wondered if we would actually have lake front property.

I remember 2007 and tried to walk the "lake bed" and very quickly got an idea of what quicksand might feel like.  Take a step, sink to your knees, then experience total suction.  It was the chits to have to reach into that stuff to retrieve my boot...lol?

been on Logan martin now almost 40 years so have seen lots of highs and lows.  Can remember riding the bicycle through flood waters in the neighborhood back in the late 70s.  Can remember times finding pools with lots of fish in it when they would dump the river to protect Gadsden, walking around finding all kinds of stuff in the riverbed.

And who can forget the Christamas day flood last year.  Had to put on the wet suit as someones wooden rocking chairs were going to tear through the screens on screened in portion of the pier.

Got a nice place off the main channel - summer water only.  right now the pier is high and dry and almost 10 feet to the nearest water.  Had to pull the boats out back in early September and had a hard time even then.  

Guess it is good for maintance :)
