for a moment that Trump is right and the election is rigged?  What does that say for our country?  We all know that there are a ton of things that we don't know and have come to light in the course of this election cycle.  So what if he is right.  Suppose the Supreme Court decided they would rather have GWB than AL Gore as President and it had nothing to do with votes?  This is one of those thoughts that gets scary quickly, but just suppose Trump is right?  He may not even know that he is right.

http://conservativetribune.com/hillary-camp-freaks-dems-caught/

“It’s a very easy thing for Republicans to say, ‘Well, they’re busing people in,’ Foval said.

“Well, you know what,” Foval continued, “we’ve been busing people in to deal with you f***ing a**holes for 50 years, and we’re not going to stop now. We’re just going to find a different way to do it.”

They admit to doing it for a long time - just everyone looks the other way and claims well nothing to see here as is standard politican ( note no D or R).  If you attempt to do something about it such as voter ID ( which does not even address mail in ballots where the worst seems to be getting reported this election cycle. ) then the courts knock it down.  I do not think there has been a truly fair election in some time without some form of cheating going on somewhere.

How do you get the rules changed when the people who made the rules and approve of the rules as they are - are the some of the very ones you are trying to overcome?

You will not get a politician to vote to cut their own political throat, or eliminate their sources of power and money.

Ever wonder why its so hard to get term limits ?

I am unable to consider about whether ''he is right'' until he or someone else offers ANY verifiable proof that our elections are rigged or that there is widespread voter fraud.  To do so is irresponsible.  Remember, if there is evidence that the vote is rigged it will more likely be that the ''rigging'' benefits Republicans since ALL national and statewide elections are administered by the states and I believe at this point 31 of the states are under Republican control.  Hound, I ask you and your GOP friends think about the Democratic claim that the Republicans are committed to depressing the minority vote.  There is much more verifiable evidence that this claim is true than that Trump's are.  I think the Supreme Court Decision in 2000 that gave the Oval Office to W was biased but cannot prove it so, therefore, l accept it.

There are no  facts to back up that there has been an election where voter fraud  determined the outcome. Could it happen to actually determine this election?  I doubt it and it is just Trump whining. His brand is going down the tubes and he needs an excuse to bring it back after the election. Room rates at his hotels are way down. The rates at his DC hotel have been reduced because rooms are empty.  He can't handle negative election news so "rigging" is his way to excite his base.

Watch the project Veritas videos and then try to make that claim goofy. They infiltrated the folks that actually coordinate the fraud and they openly brag about how they do it. None so blind as those that refuse to see.

This is one of those "thought" kinda questions.  You know, like the ones that say suppose our entire universe is sitting on the head of someone's pin.

But just supposed it is rigged and none of us know it.  We go arguing Republicans vs. Democrats, but suppose it doesn't matter how anyone votes and the outcome has already been decided?

You know Architect, whenever it involves something negative about Democrats - you need proof.  But when it come to Republicans, you are willing to believe any wild-a$$ thing you read or hear.  Why is that exactly?

I'm not talking about if Trump is whining or is on to something.  This is strictly theoretical - suppose the election is rigged and we just don't know it.  See my response to Arch above.

Before 8 years ago, most of us wouldn't believe that Congress could be in a deadlock with the WH, but it happened.  There are so many things that we don't know.

I'm not basing this on whether I think Donald is right or wrong, but it sure is something to wonder about.

No, the election is not being rigged.    Too many credible experts have weighed in to debunk this, but we should pay attention to who stands to benefit from the myth that US elections cannot be trusted to reveal the will of the voters.

Trump, ever the showman and opportunist, has taken to claiming the election results are rigged even before voting has started… adding hints that minorities in the inner cities or illegal immigrants are part of a grand conspiracy to subvert democracy.     What appears to be happening is that he is laying the groundwork for a claim that he did not lose the election, but it was unfairly stolen from him.  This is vintage Trump, who has been his own worst enemy from the beginning.   Now, in the face of defeat, he intends to burn the house down.   In the end, he may be angling for enough riled up supporters to fuel his next endeavor… whether it be a 3rd party or as customers for a radical right wing Brietbart-style network.

Putin, who was nearly undercut by domestic protests that he rigged Russian Presidential elections, is also a clear winner in this game.   Whether Trump is a witting or unwitting accomplice is pretty much irrelevant.   Trump stands to benefit from any disruption of the body politic, and Putin knows this.   So a disinformation campaign spawned by Russian Intelligence to discredit the US government, undermine public confidence in our elections, and provoke possible violent reactions to the election results is simply a goal in itself.   Ultimately, it is in Russia's best interest that the US be conflicted, internally confused about the institutions of our country, and willing to believe conspiracy theories over facts.

On a grand scale, you shouldn’t wonder if the elections are rigged… we should be asking ourselves who would benefit from convincing the US public to believe this…. causing revolt against the democratic process, targeting and accusing minorities of treachery, and  ginning up so much anger within the population that we turn on each other.

Your first sentence is BS. I didn't know you were clairvoyant. It must be nice to see all and know all. Also, your posts have become so predictable it's almost a waste of time to even bother to read them.

Hound, I think your statement that I require proof if it benefits the GOP but not if if benefits the Democrats is off base.  Look again at the last sentence of my post.

no  facts to back up that there has been an election where voter fraud  determined the outcome

so fraud is acceptable in your opinion as long as there are no facts or it does not effect the outcome?

1 illegal vote is too many.
