No, i'm not talking Jeff "dim bulb" Sessions here.  No no...founder and former leader of the French neo-fascist National Front Party, Jean Marie Le Pen today said that if he were an American he would vote for and support Donald Trump.  The Donald can't go wrong...the neo Nazis and KKK (David Duke*) now in his camp!!

* On CNN today Trump steadfastly refused to disavow the support of David Duke.

Rather than trash Trump, perhaps you could offer some  factual data on why ANYONE would vote for either Hillary or Bernie. Considering their track records,,, go ahead,, impress us..

Now, Mack, you go and ruin things.  If Hillary is elected there are rumors that Asleep At The Wheel will be performing at the inauguration.

And, Bill Clinton said "Everything Hillary does, she makes better" ..... "except me"

Because, even though she may be as much a liar and crook as Trump, she, unlike the Donald, is not a hothead egomaniac with messiah complex who considers himself to be infalliable and thinks anyone who dares disagree with him is an enemy to be belittled and ground into the dust!  In four words...She is not crazy (make it five if you include Lindsay Grahams adjective).  Unfortunate but easy choice!!

Now, what do you think of the support of David Duke and M. Le Pen?  Of course you will never give a straight answer to the question.  None of the wingers on this forum ever answers a question...they either belittle the questioner or change the subject or log off!!

Recent polling has Trump beating Shillary in New York of all places.  I can see why you are worried and suddenly fixated on the Donald.  He's not my first choice but he will get my vote if he in the nominee.  Not sure what all he would do but I dang sure know what she would do and it would not be good for America.  Besides, he is just following the example of dear leader, except he may actually be right on the issues.

Archie,

Anyone or any group is as free to endorse any candidate as you or I are.  So what?  As much as the libs try to attach an endorsement of someone to that individuals belief system, those days are gone buddy.  The days of political correctness are vanishing.  He surely can voice his opinion about anybody or group that endorses him, but he cannot control the endorsement.  If you watch his CNN interview yesterday, I thought he gave a very appropriate and adult answer to Jake Trappers question.

"If you watch his CNN interview yesterday, I thought he gave a very appropriate and adult answer to Jake Trappers question."

You sound like you are surprised. He tells us he went to the best colleges and is highly educated. Pathetic that his providing an appropriate answer is worthy of mention. Usually, that is what we say when our kids are 10 years old.

You and I obviously do not hang out with the same kind of adults!

my wife and I had dinner with an old friend, a native Atlantian, who has been voting Republican since before it was cool in the south ( she cast her first vote ever for Tom Dewey against Truman).  This year she is planning to vote for Kasich in the primary now that her first choice Jeb has bailed.  If Trump is the nominee she plans put 3 possibilities in the hat and draw...1) don't vote, 2) write in Jeb, or 3) hold her nose and vote for whoever is the Democratic nominee.

Go ahead MM, roll the dice!

Sorry, but it has been a long time since any politician running for president has been able to get away, even temporarily, with  so much as sounding as if he or she is hesitant to disavow the KKK...then comes the Donald.  I guess the man has "the courage of his true convictions"...l'll do or say anything to get more white guys to vote for me!...Yeah yeah, today he does disavow the Grand Dragon...so which opinion is his real opinion?

Am I worried? Damn right I'm worried...this year anybody who isn't is crazy.

He is not, thankfully so,  a seasoned politician who can recognize immediately cunning "gotcha" questions, but he is gaining experience in this arena.  On the other hand, do you think that Hillary's posture in front of the Senate Committee on Banghazi during her hearing with the boorish and loathsome facial grimace and hand on her chin gained the same amount of scrutiny as anything that Donald says or does?  Just wish the media had given Obama this kind of vetting in 08.

My sister in Hamilton, Ohio,  north of Cincinnati runs in strongly conservative political circles.  She tells me that Kasich is at best thought of as the third best candidate in his home state.  He may perform very well in Ohio, but I don't expect he will win it.  I quite frankly have put all of my social concerns on the back burner for now.  I want a businessman in office who knows how to surround himself with extremely bright professionals in all facets of his administration and do his best to rid this nation of the 21 Trillion debt load that your and my children and grandchildren will inherit if not addressed.  No more nanny state, no more heathcare "right of citizenship", I want to leave a legacy far more substantiative that having elected the first black and female president.

You do realize he has repeatedly disavowed Duke's so called endorsement.  You are focusing on one interview with Jake Tapper.  Should he have immediately reject it?  Of course.  Had he done so it would not have stopped the media firestorm and certainly didn't prevent you from casting aspersions on him because some fringe politician supporting him.  Wonder how much outrage you will have when the Black Panthers endorse Hillary.....and she will take it gladly because without the black vote she is toast in the general, and that vote will have to be as enthusiastic as it was for Obama.  I for one am skeptical that they will have remotely the same enthusiasm for her as they did for dear leader.

I seriously doubt that Hillary would accept an endorsement from the Black Panthers and equally doubt they would offer it.  Not that the endorsement a a half dozen middle aged black hippie anarchists would have much influence.

As for Donald's disavowal / non-disavowal of the KKK...let's just say he was for them before he was against them!

Nor did Trump accept Duke's.  Somehow its news when some nut provides a so-called endorsement of Trump but as long as Hillary doesn't accept some other radical group's endorsement there is nothing to see...move along.  Do you even see the hypocrisy?  And by the way, who cares about David Duke?  I can assure you far more blacks support the Black Panthers than Duke has supporters.

Regards your last sentence...you must not spend much time in east TN, north AL, north GA or anywhere in MS talking to ordinary low income white folks and you must not have spent much time anywhere talking to working black folks in any income category.

So the black panthers are a few old black hippies but the KKK is alive and thriving in your view? Hmm...trying to remember the last time I saw the KKK intimidating blacks at a poling place. But I see your point, its been 4 and 8 years since the old black hippies did. Hard to recall that far back. Question...where was the KKK founded? That's a trick question because you surely know that it was in New Jersey, being the student of history that you obviously are.

I am not that much of a history whiz, but I do know the original group on which the KKK was based was founded in TN by Nathan Bedford Forrest and that the revival took place at Stone Mountain, GA in the 20's.  Maybe a group calling itself the KKK might have popped up in NJ, but I challange you to prove it ever had a major following in the Northeast, Indiana yes, NJ no way.  There is very little overt support of the KKK anywhere today, but there is vast  sub-rosa support among lower income white men and women all over the south and mountain west for the social attitudes espoused by the KKK...a he!! Of a lot more than among blacks for the Black Panthers.  Have you ever listened into the conversations and jokes in a redneck bar in rural N AL or N GA?  I did a few years ago in Rabun County GA, and it was an eye-opener!

Sure do and they are the salt of the earth, wondeful people.  Your bigoted youth is creeping through again.  Tell me again what David Duke is doing these days on the national scene?  Every four years some reporter tracks him down to try and make national news.  Works pretty well for the intellectually vacuous who fall for it every time.  No one cares about him and no one is following him.....the Black Panthers on the other hand are back in vogue......you must not spend much time in the hood.....

A group including many former Confederate veterans founded the first branch of the Ku Klux Klan as a social club in Pulaski, Tennessee, in 1866. The Klan did not arrive in NJ until the early 1920s.

Boy, oh boy,  the slimy liberal talk idiots are full of it today.  You'd think all conservatives wear hoods all the time.  Such BS is to be expected from idiots who try to promote the HildaBit__.  Archidiot, I've read all the BS posts you've contributed and I can say only one thing about your creditability......BS.  I have not seen everything in my life, but I can attest to the following.  I was born to a family who had lived in the Black Belt of Alabama since the early 1800s.  I was raised in the Black Belt until I left for college and have continued to maintain close contact with many black friends I was raised with and around.  Matter of fact:  N.B. Forrest surrendered in a small Black Belt town about 30 miles from my hometown and the statute of him is still in it's original place;  and the community is almost 100% black now.  Here's the punch line:  I have never seen a KKK presence of any type, ever.....never.  Does the KKK exist?  Probably in the minds of a few weak stupid people.  Is it a factor in the election?....only in the minds of a few weak stupid people like archidiot.

Here is what Trump had to say in 1998.......It is happening now and you are missing it. So funny to watch you guys buy into his lies. I am a loser cause I support Hillary... you are no better except in your own mind. Now, WIXIE time to come unglued and tell us you were raised by a black nanny. By the way WIX...are you a racist?

Now Wix...tell me this is BS. By the way, you sound like Trump telling us you went to college. We are proud of you but did you graduate?

"I guess Trump was right in his 1998 interview on CBS. He said that if he ever ran for office, he would run as a Republican because they are stupid and will believe anything you tell them that is their current hot button topic."

Don't you conservatives who actually think your own thoughts on occasion ever get embarrassed by the gibberish this fellow spouts.  The GOP, with Trump leading the charge, is rapidly descending to the level where Wix and his fellow travelers will be considered among the Party's intellectual elite!!  I know most of you refuse to admit it as yet, but it is happening.

Ay least that is the opinion of weak stupid Archidiot.

Now Wix, you will not find the most virulent racist in the Black Belt today.  Look above the gnat line to the piedmont and mountain counties of AL, GA, TN and NC.  Go to the old textile and sawmill towns, the backwoods communities where they handle snakes in church, the counties that until well into the 50's had signs at the county lines saying "N.gg.r don't let the sun set on your head in this county", the hardscrabble places far removed from the booming urban centers, the places where people believe the world is out to destroy them and their culture where hate is not considered a bad thing as long as it is directed at the "right" people...go to those places, the places where Obama received less than 20% of the vote and where Trump will receive 60% of the vote tomorrow.  Go there and listen and you will realize that racisim worthy of the KKK is alive and well in the USA!

Find a headline from the last Klan meeting in any of those places you so affectionately refer too and I will look for a comparable headline from liberal utopia of california and we will compare the dates. I specifically point out that the KKK is not an above ground ongoing juggernaut in this Nation today  It is a discredited group of fools that have been unmasked and therefore does not get many headlines.  I also specifically point out that it is the social, and in some cases enforcement ideas, once espoused by the Klan that remain alive and well in the minds of millions of poorly educated, low income, paranoid, white men and women all over the south and beyond.  Extreme racism and xenophobia and religious bigotry and hatred of "different" people are not dead in this country, but tends to not be in the places you might expect, but continues alive and well and growing among people by the droves in the kind of places mentioned.  They will be flocking to schools and volunteer firehouses, and churches today to make their mark for the Donald who they believe, due to the code language he so loves, is one of them.  These are mostly good God fearing folk, but they have a mean streak that is being tapped and brought to life by this demagogue from NY!  Look around you...I'll bet you can even find a few in whatever area you call home.  If the Donald is elected these people will be angry and even meaner when he fails to live up to their expectation and the rest of the country will be in the grips of a potential nightmare with an egomaniac sitting in the oval office.  WAKE UP PEOPLE!!  This guy is a disaster waiting to happen!!

By the time this is over, you guys will have twisted yourselves into intellectual pretzels coming up with accomodations to Trump's campaign.  He is all over the place, and no one cares.     The rest of us are watching the Trump apologists who are willing to accept, and then reframe, every contradictory, racist, exaggerated statement he makes... made by a guy who has little regard for what he says or how he says it.   Good luck with all that.    Honest conservative thinkers are going to diminish themselves if they join in the chorus.

Anybody who can look at the Jake Tapper interview and believe that Trump didn't understand the question is engaging in really distorted thinking.   Of course he heard the question, he was only confused about how to answer because he was making a calculation that he wanted those racist voters to believe he is their guy.   To see it otherwise is to deny what you saw with your own eyes.

But Trump is having that effect on a lot of people.

Pitiful.   Supporting a buffoon like Trump only because you hate 'that Black guy in the White House' and anyone who supports a continuation of his efforts.   Logic and reason be damned.   It's what your politics has come to.
