Lost to Sweden 3-0.  Hate to see any American team lose in the Olympics but I am very happy if we won't have to see them kneeling or turning their back on the national anthem.  Karma is a b!tch.  

And recall them whining about wanting to be paid more.....this from a team that lost to a bunch of male teenagers.  Sorry to say this ladies, but you can't compete with men in soccer until the entire team is composed of men pretending to be women....something I am sure is coming our way soon.

by mistake , i tuned to a channel this morning & Brazil & germany were about to play. both teams sang their national anthem, no kneeling--USA teams are an embarrassment & should go home. I really blame the spineless USA OLYMPIC Committee for allowing this to happen. As with the NFL< NBA, etc. Olympics are now non events for me. & Im afraid college sports may be next

I used to care, but since the time the athletes started making it a place to advance their political ideology...which it seems is always an attack on something about our country....I lost interest.

You're probably right.  Like Hodja, I used to care until they let professionals play and then I lost interest.  And when they started all the stupid protesting and virtue signaling I went from a lack of interest to an aversion.  I had to post it because I cannot stand Rapinoe and her whining about money and disrepecting our country. Amateur athletes used to go there to compete on behalf of their country.....now far too many of them go for the fame and fortune and the opportunity to bash the U.S.

I would like to watch the wrestling but I never fully understood freestyle and Greco-Roman.  I could care less about the other events.

Now it is just a platform for athletes to launch their careers and gain endorsements.  Frankly, these days I prefer the Xgames.
