Could be ok but Cotton is one of those who talk about how corrupt things are but do nothing about it.  Maybe they are helpless and can only hold a hearing which is a joke.  Even Gowdy was like that.  Give me some action.  Send somebody to jail

A fine aspiration but what current politician achieved the standard you would use for Mr Cotton?

Until we clean up this election, no Republican will ever be elected again.

All are promising candidates.  Hopefully the Republican Party will begin to vet and groom several possibilities and start getting some of the more promising ones in front of the voters ASAP.  Even if Trump's lawsuits strike paydirt there still need to be a concerted effort to prepare for 2024.

He may or may not be one of many that will seek the office and it remains to be seen who will come out on top.

As for Joe Manchin, not a frigging chance nor should he even be considered.  He voted to impeach, he voted against ACB, he repeatedly voted against stimulus bills during the pandemic, he is not even the most conservative Democrat (Sinema and Jones are more conservative) and he will vote for Chuck Schumer to be the majority leader.....you can count on it.  All this talk about him voting no on court packing or statehood for DC and PR or Medicare for All is pure disinformation meant to depress GOP turnout in Georgia for the runoffs.  He will vote for every single one of the socialist ideas if it comes down to him making the difference.

is that Trump may run again in 2024, which would likely knock out the possibility of anyone else running.  I hope not.  He's had his turn at bat, and I would really love to see some of the younger members of the party run.

He can't run again in 2024, he will be term limited out.

How so?  He can serve up to two terms as POTUS.

Lifer probably means he thinks Trump will prevail in his current efforts to taurn aronnd hdis apparent defeat in 2020 and serve his second term without a break.
