Once again the NYT has shredded its already decimated credibility as we now know the name of the so-called "high ranking official" that published a tell all article in the Slimes. Even the liberal media are slamming the rag for calling this loser a high ranking official. No wonder they wanted him to publish as anonymous.......he was practically anonymous when he was canned from his job for cause.
Think about all the people he hurt by creating concern about whether one of the actual, real high ranking officials in the Trump admin was indeed part of the resistance. I don't think the media can recover what little credibility they had before 2016......it is gone forever.

He was the former chief of staff to Kirstjen Nielsen when she headed the Department of Homeland Security and is the co-founder of a group called the Republican Political Alliance for Integrity and Reform. As Chief of Staff, I would not call him a flunkie anymore than Meadows is a flunkie in the White House as Chief of Staff for Trump. You are pissed because no one can find reasan to write a positive book about Trump. Maybe, in Trump's second term there will be a postive book written and paid for by Trump.
Remember, he is a Republican...LOL

Sorry Goofy, but being a deputy to the head of DHS is not a high level official. He is a flunkie to a high level official. Even leftists are shredding the NYT for calling him that.

His salary was $146,000. Not exactly flunkie money for government employees. What is the hang up on whether he was a flunkie? He is a a Republican Patriot, flunkie or not.

Not a hang up......just pointing out that he was not a senior administration or high ranking official as he was falsely billed as in the article.
But what's your hang up with the fact that he's a Republican? You think the deep state is only Democrats? Look at the Lincoln project grifters scamming TDS sufferers for tens of millions and laughing all the way to the bank. They are all part of the resistance and former deep state actors that are so-called Republicans. Now I will admit the deep state is 99.9% Democrats but that's just a function of the kind of people that like to suckle at the Federal govt teet. But that 0.1% is around 2,000 Fed govt employees.....of which this loser is one of them. Interestingly, he is also a cnnBS contributor which is pretty much not a remote surprise.

I guess at your income level, $146,000 is what you pay a flunkie. I bet if your son were Chief of Staff to the Director of Homeland Security you would describe it as a high level job. I doubt you would describe your son as being a flunkie making $146,000 per year as Chief of Staff.

After the article was published this is the list of potential authors posited by the media who apparently know what defines a senior administration official: Don McGahn, Dan Coats, Kellyanne Conway, Kirstjen Nielsen, John Kelly, Jeff Sessions, James Mattis, Nikki Haley, Jared Kushner, and Ivanka Trump. Chris Cillizza also suggested it might be Fiona Hill or Melania Trump.
DHS actually listed 64 individuals it considered senior at the department on the day the op-ed was published. Taylor was not one of them. He was described as a policy advisor, not anything close to a senior administration official.
“Having worked with Mr. Taylor on the President’s immigration and counter-terrorism policy agenda, I can attest that [Miles Taylor] never vocalized disagreement with the president’s policies — and in fact expressed strong support,” Acting Secretary Chad Wolf said in a statement. Taylor worked on the child separation program with no qualms.....so much for principled.
Miles Taylor donated to the Obama campaign in 2008. He took a leave of absence from Google to work on the Dementia Joe campaign. Yeah, he's a principled Republican....LMAO. This is what TDS does to you......you'll believe anything, say anything, lie repeatedly and if you are a NeverTrump type apparently abandon all prior political beliefs because.....ya know....Orange Man Bad.
Cue Goofy to try ot change the subject to tell us all the times Trump lied.......trolling is no virtue Goofy....do try to stay on topic.

I would not call him a senior administration official and I would be utterly appalled if he did what this guy did. I call him a flunkie because he allowed the NYT to lie about him being a senior administration official. But see below for some salient details about the flunkie...

I love how you like to refer to looters, protesters, and antifa as Democrats but refuse to take ownership for Taylor as a Republican. I look at looters and protesters as Independents and not supporting either party. As to Antifa, they are left leaning as they oppose Nazi's and far right ideology. They may well just be RINOs who believe in compassionate conservatism.

When did I say he wasn't a Republican? Let me help you out here since you suffer from reading comprehension issues......I never did.
I did ridicule his being characterized as a "principled" Republican. He is not because he lacked the courage to express his alleged concerns while he was happily enacting the policies of the administration and running around letting the NYT mischaracterize and overstate his role in the administration to increase his credibility. Had he been willing to go on the record with his article and book everyone would have said the same thing, "Miles who?!?!?!? WTF?!?!" But no, he lacked the courage and the principles to act on his so-called convictions and cashed in on utter nonsense by pretending to actually be someone in the know as a senior official in the administration. Had he tried to publish under his real name no one would cared or given him any credibility. He knew that....the NYT knew that....and they both conspired in this charade.
As for the mindless Antifa and BLM thugs, I'm curious......how many of them do you think are Republicans? Would love to hear your thinking on that.

I will say he is not a "republican"
"Miles Taylor donated to the Obama campaign in 2008. He took a leave of absence from Google to work on the Dementia Joe campaign. Yeah, he's a principled Republican....LMAO." and the fact that he now works for the liberal lame stream media - Rhino at best, Democrat lying about who he is to get headlines is much more likely....

"Miles Taylor donated to the Obama campaign in 2008." Can any of you geniuses answer why the Trump administration hired someone who donated to the Obama campaign?????? Crying over whether he was a flunkie or not a flunkie. is actually rather stupid. The real question is the contents of what he published. What did he write about Trump that is untrue?
Hey Phil...What the he** is a RHINO???? You are way over your head as Martini's puppet. You need to keep to the basics.

Three things. One, if you think Trump hired some low-level flunkie into his administration you sadly do not understand how hiring works in an administration. Two, unlike leftists and Democrats we don't have a litmus test for hiring staff like this guy. Three, you are one making a big deal out of the flunkie thing, not us. You are free to call him the all-knowing god of the universe if it makes you feel better...as for me, he is a low-level flunkie who worked with the NYT to obscure the fact that his claim to be privy to things he was clearly not privy to is utter nonsense. They did so because he would have zero credibility writing about things like he was in the room when he was in some basement office in the Exec building.
So as far as I'm concerned pretty much everything he wrote was a fabrication as was attested to by those that were actually senior officials in the administration and were actually in the room. I suggest you go back and look at the comments of those really in the know at the time the article and book were published.

Seriously, and that's with a 30% bump in pay rates for being there. But to Goofy, that's all the money in the world and definitive proof that he was senior, high ranking top of the shelf official that spent hours every day with the President in high level meetings that involved every aspect of domestic and foreign policy.
The amazing thing is even leftists are deriding the characterization.....but not Goofy. I am betting there are probably 2,000 chief of staffs in DC, if not more. And according to Goofy, Trump apparently hired them all personally.....after of course verifying whose campaign they donated to 8 years before. It's a wonder Trump got anything done with all those interviews, checking references, searching the internet for their political donations and so on.
That is what TDS does to you......it is literally a mental illness.

Ah yes, the anonymous "principled big wig" (my emphasis added) who was in his job as Chief of Staff for a whopping two months. What he did at DHS before then I do not know but you can be sure it wasn't a higher level position.
All,
Effective today, I have handed off my official duties as DHS Chief of Staff. For the time being, please ensure you include Patrick Flanagan on any communications you would have sent to me, and/or Deputy Chiefs of Staff Brandon Wales and Sam Kaplan. DHS is in great hands under the stewardship of Acting Secretary Kevin McAleenan, and I urge you to give him your full support.
It has been an honor to serve. I am personally grateful to former Secretary John Kelly, Acting Secretary Elaine Duke, and Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen for their leadership and for the opportunity they gave me to advance the Department’s agenda at home and abroad. The past two years have been — without a doubt — the most productive in DHS history. Together, we’ve made historic strides in defending our networks, thwarting terrorist plotting, blocking foreign interference in our democracy, countering emerging threats, responding to natural disasters, securing our borders, and so much more. The American people and our great nation are markedly safer as a result. I could not be more proud to have worked alongside you as we reached these new milestones.
Thank you all for your support, collegiately, friendship, and public service over the past two years. I look forward to remaining in touch. Please do not hesitate to contact me if I can ever be of assistance.
God bless America,
M
Miles Taylor Chief of Staff U.S. Department of Homeland Security

Speaking of pathetic - him not undestanding RHINO VS RINO - I typo and add 1 letter and he is so stupid his brain can not connect the dots, but then again with those blinders on he probably can not see much other then his nose. I can not believe you are really so stupid you could not make the contextual leap to figure it out but are so stumped of the use of RHINO in the context it was that you were trying to figure out how this super high level became a african horned beast, but then again knowing what you normally post - I can believe it.
but then again https://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=POLITICAL%20RHINO looks like the RHINO is appropriate according to urbandictionary. Considering his anonymous crap looks like the below definition of a demonrat turd in hiding as political RHINO seems to work just damn fine.
Political Rhino, is an establishment player, that exalts a hidden agenda, against the majority. Political Rhinos are "Gray Hat Hacks", that will be seen as a turncoat, or a traitor at the last minute, to push an establishment. These attention seekers have a narcissistic element of extreme selfcenteredness. Clickish, Group-Like, Political-Cult-Like, and or " Good Old Boys Club Like behavior.

When DHS was created, they took a lot of small organizations and crammed them together and the truth is that the organization has never really gelled. It is consistently considered the worst place to work in polls by federal employees - they have the highest number of people who really hate working there.
In terms of this man's book and the article in the NYT - He decided to cash in with his limited amount of information and largely speculated about Trump and the WH. A person with no integrity. I wonder if all those people who ran to buy the book now feel a little foolish having spent their money on a book with no basis in reality.
It's sad, but I don't blame Trump. There are a lot of people out there with no ethics and no integrity who would take the easier route of tearing down our government and our President, than looking for ways to build it up.
