The ACB ceremony in the Rose Gargen is being blames as the "spreader event" that infected POTUS et. al.  Sen. Thom Tillis was at the event and has now contracted the China Flu.  The issue is that the good Senator wore a mask to the event, yet still contracted "deadly virus" that boasts a 99.5% SURVIVAL RATE.  So how did this happen?  Masks work, so HOW? Please enlighten us with your vaunted wisdom.

Masks are more commonly worn by people in government than ever before and yet we are still getting infections.  The real issue with them is the inability to do their jobs and maintain social distancing, the amount of time they spend in close contact with others, etc.  All it takes is one person that ignores the symptoms because they "have" to be there and mask or no mask, they will spread the virus.  The same way they would spread the ordinary flu......but we're not tracking that any more are we?

In essence and to make it real simple for the scientifically illiterate......there is zero correlation between mask mandates and the spread of the virus.  Masks do not work and may be harmful if they result in risky behavior.....which they do as I see it every single day.

The term "mask" is certainly being interpreted very loosely.  I am curious just how effective the Auburn coaches' masks were Satutrday when you could actually see through them (they surely didn't help the team!).  Many people, to include my own family, are resorting to "gaiters" and other scarves as "masks".  If they provide any protection at all I would guess the percent effective would be in the single digits.  And yes, that is my opinion, but gimme a break folks, the way this "mandate" is being implemented provides a level of protection that just isn't what some would have us believe.

It's actually been studied and you are correct, as bad as the homemade masks are the gators are the worst of them all.  Even the N95 masks provide very little protection against vapors and after 2 hours of use are useless for droplets as well.  Again, my issue with the masks is the false sense of security that causes people to relax on the other measures that actually work.  Using them is mostly virtue signaling.  So listen up folks and do the following:

1. Social distance
2. Stay home if you have any symptoms, get tested and treated early with any one of the effective thereputics
3. Wash your hands frequently and diligently
4. Use wipes or liquids if you can't wash your hands
5. Wear a mask if you want to but not at the expense of the above measures.

It's really that simple and works for any virus, even the Wuhan ChiCom Chinese virus.
