In other actions of note, Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer (D) issued executive directive 2020-8 on Aug. 4, asking  licensing authorities to deem professionals who violate one of the state’s executive orders on COVID-19 as public health risks – thus jeopardizing their licensure status, even if it’s not related to patient care under the professional’s license. By extension, under the directive if the doctor fails to wear a mask in public or hosts a function with too many attendees, they could be deemed a public health risk and have their license taken away. This was the first such order in the nation.

Voting Dem will get you more of this crap.

You know, I don't have a dog in the fight since I don't live in Michigan.  But, my feeling is this - if you are going to pass mandates, put some teeth in them to make them effective.  Make a strong penalty for not complying.  Since this is a public health crisis, the why not go after medical people who should be setting the example.

This also is true when making treaties and agreements, unless you make it painful, it's useless.

A license suspension for a professional is not punitive Hound?  You cannot work, you may be investigated by your organization's ethics committee, you have to declare it on all appointment renewals, your hospital privileges are relinquished, your liability insurance will be scrutinized,  etc etc.  It is a big deal.

What is the penalty for a non-professional person or a professional who does not require a license??  Since taking a doctor's license takes away his meanse to make a living, it would seem the associated monetary penalty would be in the hundreds of thousands of dollars.  If the fine for a non-licensed person is anything less than that you do not have equal justice under the law.

How about if we find a politican who violates the rules we can just execute them?  Since they made the rules they should have to live with it under penality of death. The rules need to have real teeth.

I know it is a big deal.  But Drs. are held to a higher standard, particularly where it concerns public health.  

But I didn't make the rule, and I don't even know it is true.  I asked a friend in Michigan who is usually up to date on this stuff and she told me she hadn't heard of it.  My only point is that if you are going to make a mandate, and enforce it, then make it painful to not comply.  I don't live in Michigan so I don't know what penalty on the average person is for not wearing a mask.

She is a fascist totalitarian and has been from the beginning.  They will do anything to force compliance, including taking away someone's right to earn a living.  That is what they do.  Just look at yesterday,  Joe and the Ho called for a national mask mandate in their first joint appearance.  They want to control our lives and the means of production.....it is what they do and why I oppose them at every turn.

I have seen that BS press ad several times on TV yesterday and Joe looks dead.  He could hardly read his notes.  CRD, what kind of drugs could have the affect of Biden that we see all the time?  He is much worse than he was during the nomination debates...

That's why I thought we had officials (who happen to be politicians), to make the rules and enforce them.  But unless you are a Dr. in Michigan, I don't think you should lose much sleep over it.
