I dont think most good Christians would equate the possible death of a Jewish Supreme Court Justice with the question of whether an idiot was going to be tossed out of an office he is not fit to fill.

Another question, do you think the "dimokraps" would rush to judgement because they believe Mike Pence is more likely to appoint a less conservative replacement for any Supreme Court Justice who might, for whatever reason leave the bench?

Could be but I suspect it is more about the coming IG report and Durham's investigation.  There are lot of deep state actors that are getting asked a lot of uncomfortable questions under oath.  Funny thing though, is if they do move forward with impeachment Trump's lawyers will have full subpoena power and they will use it to the hilt.  Can't wait for all the witnesses pleading the 5th during that debacle.  There's a reason Pelosi won't schedule a vote on this.  As I have said before, let's have the vote.  Trump has been in litigation before and he knows how to play the game.  If the left doesn't understand and fear what will happen in an impeachment hearig in the House they should.

There is no really good reason to rush the vote. Just think of the weeks of media frenzy by letting it play out with testimonies and speculation.  I understand Schiff is now trying to supeona the Putin phone calls too.  And think of all the free publicity Biden is getting too.  We know that this will go nowhere, but that doesn't mean that it will stop.

Holding a vote is supposed to be the first step in an impeachment proceeding.  That triggers the process.  So basically they are telliing their base that impeachment is moving forward while it is not really moving forward.  They are providing shade to moderate Dems in the House that are in Trump leaning districts.  And they also don't want to trigger Trump's defense team that will be scorched earth.  This is all political theater and a distraction from the real corruption with the FISA abuse.

I say what difference does it make if your support is AGENDA driven, not morality driven.  Not one of us can accuse another of any immorality unless they look at themselves first.  As far as I can tell, no one is willing to admit that they have no right to make moral accusations against another unless they hold themselves to the same standard.

For a "respected surgeon," you certainly have serious problems following a logical train of thought. The notion posited by MM that impeachment is being "hurried up" because of RBG's health issues is just plain stupid. I made that point - and it went well over your head - in my previous post.

I'll make this ducky-piggy simple, so hopefully even you and Ben Carson can understand:

1. #45 is going to be impeached for treason, bribery, and high crimes and misdemeanors, exactly as the Constitution specifies. Public hearings on prime time tv will lay bare his egregious misconduct for those who don't usually pay attention to such matters. See Watergate for information about how this will work.

2. He is unlikely to be convicted in the Senate. However, every Senator's vote will be known to the public. They will have to answer to the voters for their decisions.

Nothing hypocritical at all.  My views haven't changed and I will take a Trey Gordy or a Deven Nunes any day over an Adam Schiff, a Jerry Nadler or an Elijah Cummings.  The Republicans were seeking truth.  The Democrats are seeking political gain.  As evidenced by Schiff's "parody" they will do anything to gain their objective.  And now the Dems are not going to allow Republicans equal time and access to question the whistleblower when he/she testifies behind closed doors.  They must be scared the truth will come out.

That is my belief...my "fact"...and nothing you have posted on this forum has convinced me otherwise.

He has said he has no choice but to bring it to the floor - BUT what he can allow for is a more honest hearing where Trump can present evidence of DNC/Hillary/Obama/Biden using foreign help to help them in the 2016 election - he can also calll the same to the stand and get them under oath.
