Saw where Alabama is going to post it's game plan on the internet a week before each game. Give their opponent plenty of time to prepare.
Sorry, wasn't Alabama but the US Gov. I'm not real bright, but seems to me that leaking every little detail about a pending military operation might give the enemy an opportunity to react. Real problem is shooting off one's mouth about "red lines", thinking your words mean something when in fact, the actors on the world stage have no fear or respect for you. Be interesting to see how this one plays out.

The US
spent so much time getting permission to effect regime change in Iraq (from
Congress, the UN, Colin Powell’s second cousin, ad nauseam)… that it took the Israelis four years to find out where
the nuclear materials went… and the rest of the world ten years to find out
where the chemical WMD went (…though most of the world’s intelligence agencies
knew exactly where, when, and how).
If
there is ANY confusion about the mission statement, the order ABSOLUTELY SHOULD
NOT BE GIVEN (you military folks know about SMEAC). The White House doesn’t
have a clue... and anyway, the Pretender will have to first get Valerie Jarrett’s
permission.
Then there will be that period of “nation building” under the guns
of the Islamic rebels and their partners al Qaeda.
“Anyone who ignores history…”

I pray to God, every night, that we stay out of that quagmire. If we have learned anything from Afgan,Iraq, and the rest of that cesspool, it's that we MUST NOT be the policeman of the world!!!!!!

Victory is not the goal here. Lobbing a few cruise missiles to show the world you care is.........style over substance. The lynchpin of the community agitator.

The Brits
have detected the trap. They’re not going for the bait.
Meanwhile, our Pretender, his under-talented Secretary
of State, and their buddies, the talking heads, are searching for just the
right mission statement… um, ad slogan… to justify a token amount of shock and
awe.
a) we’ll do it. b) it will confirm to the rest of the world
that our pretender is an idiot. c) such action will embolden our enemies, and
confound our allies.

I only wish that this administration understood the concepts of cover and deception.....oh, wait, that is for politics. Could never be used to military advantage.....what a freaking joke these rubes have proven themselves to be. Even our most reliable ally has given the imbecile a Foxtrot Yankee.
We surely haven't heard much from the drive-by liberal. Maybe he finally realized he is wrong and is cowering with his tail between his legs. He certainly should. Even GF is strangely silent.

The country with a monarch has a debate

But the one that forcibly pulled away from the monarchy doesn't. Dripping with irony, eh? Whatever he does it will be without any consultation of congress which I believe is not constitutionally necessary but would be wise......SOTUS is anything but wise. Just remember, this gets the latest news on his scandals off the front pages.
Mission accomplished!

Absolutely right about getting Jarrett's permission. I bet she dressed him down after he made the red line comment. How to spin your way out of that one......

Would be an excellent opportunity for deception, but the ego won't allow it. Better to rule by opinion poll that objective facts.
BTW, glad you made it through the NASCAR moment the other day. Hope all is well.

Thanks. Was a he!! Of a ride for a few seconds there. Funny how many thoughts can go through your head in such a short period of time. I am fairly experienced with bringing cars back under control when they break loose, but in this case the car just didn't respond to my corrections. Could also be that my age has slowed my reflexes such that the steering corrections were a split second late. It was pretty obvious very quickly, especially after the engagement of the restraining cables, that I should just relax and enjoy the ride. When the air bag deployed it surprised me and my first thought was "what was that?" As the car came to rest, nestled among the cables and pointing in the wrong direction, I remember thinking "we'll, I won't be taking this car to Charleston!" My next thought was "how did I get through that and not get hurt?" The Man upstairs smiled on me that day.
