Since Mueller was appointed Special Counsel in May, his investigation has uncovered very little evidence of Russia's trying to influence the presidential election. However, with General Flynn's pleading guilty today, it appears that Mueller(through Flynn), has found a way to try and turn the table on President Trump. Since Flynn's firing by Trump, he is likely unhappy with his dismissal, and Mueller is using this to weave his way into investigating President Trump. It appears that Mueller found a way to offer Flynn the "lesser of two evils". The fact that Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein selected Mueller as the Special Counsel becomes suspect when you look at other involvements of Rosenstein within the DOJ. Rosenstein is a carry over from the Obama Administration and should have been replaced early on in the presidential transition.

Buteye... you need to get the facts:
President George W. Bush nominated Rosenstein to serve as United States Attorney for the United States District Court for the District of Maryland on May 23, 2005. He took office on July 12, 2005, after the United States Senate unanimously confirmed his nomination.
President Donald Trump announced his intention to nominate Rosenstein to serve as Deputy Attorney General for the United States Department of Justice on January 31, 2017. Rosenstein was confirmed by the U.S. Senate on April 25, 2017.
President Obama had nothing to do with his appontment. He just left him continue serving as US Attornney in Maryland unlike Trump who fired all of Obama's appointments as US Attorney.
As to Flynn, he said if he did 1% of what Clinton did he would go to prison. Guess he was right. Flynn is going to get Kushner with his lies and Don Jr is toast with his lies. Can The Trumpster be far behind???????????
Tillerson is toast.
Let's see 2 plead quilty, 2 indicted, Kurshner still without clearance, Don Jr can't get his story correct and the President asks for Congress to drop investigation on Russia. All this in the first year dude.
You must be a proud Anerican.

And yet still zero evidence of collusion......remember when that was the whole purpose? That's the problem with these SP's, they tend to get low level people for process crimes (i.e., lying to the FBI) or for something totally unrelated to the intent of the mess (ie, not being a registered foreign agent). So Flynn pleads guilty for the reason Trump fired him....lying. Shocker! Could they snag Kushner or Trump. Jr. for lying to the FBI? I'm sure that could happen. Will they after spending tens of millions of dollars find evidence that President Trump colluded with the Russians? Seems unlikely to me given the lack of leaks to that effect.
So the govt media is saying Trump asked Flynn to contact the Russians during the transition. Well duh! That's what a President-elect ought to be doing with his NSA, reaching out to foreign powers about critical issues. You think the Obama transition team didn't do the same thing? Heck, Hillary reached out before she was even elected and illegally hired the Russians through a cut out law firm to provide opposition research on Trump......collusion if there ever was......but she lost so who cares, right?

You are so smart you are promoted to the head of the class. I don't claim to try and follow every move that politicians make. My comments are based on a layman's observation as to what appears to be happening with Mueller's investigation. My common sense tells me something is rotten in Denmark. If there is someone who has never told a lie may they stand up and be counted.

Flynn knew he was in big trouble for not registering as a agent, so he decided to sing and got a lesser charge. Now he has implicated Jared Kusher, Trump Jr and maybe the President himself. Lying to the FBI - lying to law enforcement which will probably mean a short stay in a white collar prison or they'll give him probation and prohibit him for holding government office or working for the government in an capacity (old Generals are always on tap for Blue Ribbon Panels, and special studies)
My observation is this: Flynn contacted the Russians (and other countries) about their vote on the Israeli settlements. He didn't talk to the Russians about influencing the election, because Trump was already in transition. Flynn must be very ticked off with Trump for firing him.
I'm thinking that Democrats must be drooling over the prospect of Trump being indicated but it won't happen. And Hilary still won't be President. And they will still have to come up with someone viable for 2020, i.E. someone who isn't a retred from past elections.

As many times as you have been proven wrong why in the world do you keep on posting such asinine drivel? Do you have a mole with Mueller? What makes you think you are so right? Evidence please, not claims.

It doesn't matter what Mueller has on Flynn. Flynn took a plea deal and all he is charged with is lying to the FBI. His big, more serious charge about not registering as a agent of a foreign entity and all that entailed has been set aside.
Are you following the new Architect or are you making it up? Once you agree to a plea, whatever else they think or know you did is old and unprocecutable news.
