Gov Riley made a statement in an interview after the meetings and indicated that they plan to raise winter level of "Alabama reservoirs by 3 to 4 feet". He said that would be like building another reservoir. Looks like the idea is growing legs. Good news.

Unless he has a lot of bottled water hidden somewhere, his rhetoric doesn't make a hill of beans unless we ge rain.

RAIN is the only solution now. No agreement, lawsuit, or otherwise is purely wasted enregy.

I just get so mad with all the "sound bites" that do nothing to raise the level of Lake Martin. Why doesn't he just say we are going to raise the winter pool to full level and solve all our problems.
