Was there an assumption that the lake is surrounded with Sea Walls and the the surface area doesn't get smaller as the water goes down? 44,000 acres is not a constant....

I thought about that too, but with a total like 96 billion I think the difference is negligible. Actually I think the 44,000 is probably outdated. I know areas where erosion has added a fair amount of surface area. The volume would stay about the same though because as it gets bigger, it gets shallower also. I thought it was an interesting read though.

- 10.666666667 12 Ounce Beers in a Gallon (128 Ounces in a Gallon)
- 1,194,705,600 Gallons needed to raise Lake 1 inch
- Lake is 84 inches below full pool

Think this is right - my calculator and spreadsheets only go up to 999,999,999,999.

Need to raise it 84 inches (7 Feet) so multply your number by 84 and you will have the answer.
