I was directing that comment to all those that have come out against the new plant. Yes, I am a resident, a resident that understands the need for off water development of the area, the need for good paying manufactering jobs, and expansion of the tax base.

Some have even boasted on here that they WILL stop the plant. I don't remember who. How are you planning to do that after they have gotten the blessing of Lake Watch?

I thought the main concern was the water treatment facility not the new plant?

It was stated that the water treatment plant problem had been solved in another way?.....

Does anyone know what has changed about the plant being out of date?

the city because of violations, but we've got a Public Hearing coming up on June 25, about the license renewal of the treatment plant. The ethanol plant will significantly increase the requirements of an already malfunctioning plant. The plant has a history of illegal discharges over the past 5 years and the Dadeville administration has done nothing. They have the audacity to plead not guilty--just to buy time.
