These two issues are frequently discussed on the Fourm. I just finished reading Mr. Ron Morgan's article on page 77 of the May 2006 issue of Lake Magazine covering both issues to varying degrees. You may want to read the article.

feb, surely you aren't acknowledging that leasing is a viable alternative to paying $500K for a lot.

Osms, I own a deeded propertyt and paid considerably less than $500K years back. If you check my past post going back for several years, you will see my position on the two. I have and still maintain a leased lot through APCO is the second best way of being on Lake Martin. In my opinion, it is a viable alternative for some. Therefore, I would agree with the article.

I certainly will enjoy reading your and other's current opinions on the subject.

You are correct about your previous posts. I think I had you confused with Jim!!. You will also find several of my past posts that explain my position.

The high cost of lots on the lake are going to prevent many from enjoying the lake---unless they take advantage of the APCo lease program.
