Another holiday, another dead appliance, water heater toast, anybody recommend good plumber?
Original owner left previous tank in crawl space, where's a fellow to discard tanks & old tin etc?
Good thing its 99, cold shower with beer just the answer, bummer sleeping on the couch though.

If you buy from Lowes or HD, they will install new and remove old unit. Good luck before next week, though. Bar of soap and a swim in the lake may work, too.

You only pay to heat what you use, and it's endless when you need it. Worth every penny of extra cost

I loomed into thankless. Really wanted one but the problem is the electric one require a 100 amp service. Most folks only have a 200 amp service in their house. I actually had the room in my box but decided to just go standard. If I had gas I would have gone thankless.
Be sure to check with Steve Moore. Last year he bought a bunch of old style heaters. Cost about $100 less and will fit in the existing space if it is tight. Lots of folks are having to remodel to fit the new style in the old space.
