What are the rain gauges reporting? There are reports of localized flooding around Lake Martin.

I don't have a real gauge, but it's been raining all day and a glass that I left on the deck has over 3 inches in it.

I can not say how accurate my gauge is, but it was showing 5 inches a few mins ago and I emptied it. It has started raining again. I have to say, my gauge is a very inexpensive one, so....

and I'd guess it's a low indicator because of it's location and the shape (it balloons out some down from the rim). I'm guessing 5 inches is very possible as others have reported.....sun is coming out now, time to get ready for the sauna.

You have to watch out for McGill's rain gauges.  Sometimes he uses those "wash tub" margarita glasses from the Mexican place in Eclectic

3.25 in bay pine area (just west of Bay Pine Marina).  I have a real rain gauge!
