Good luck in the new location. Hope that delivery system works, you might just have a winner there. lol. We had some out of state people over for a meeting a few weeks ago, and they were rather bemused you don't just call someone for delivery. Could you post some more info regarding what/when delivery?

I like to get some oysters and shrimp for the weekend. Will you have some and when are you getting them shipped in?

Who thinks "Boater" should pay for his advertising? Just curious.

You are NOT alone.

He does you DAs!!! Look in the Business section under "Fish Markets" (Let me know if you need a definition for DA, I will gladly provide)

Please give us the definition. Although I think I have figured it out, I would like you to explain your advanced vocabulary to the rest of us DA's. Also, it's great that he advertises on this site but, does that give him the right to "pimp" his product on this forum? What say you?

does NOT entitle him to flood the forums with UNPAID advertising. If he were doing such a great job his customers would be here tooting his horn for him and he wouldn't have too do it himself.

"does NOT entitle him to flood the forums with UNPAID advertising."

Or, do what several of us have discussed offline and just simply don't use them as long as they continue to pursue this breach of simple forum etiquette. Especially while posting compliments to themselves under another alias!

There are plenty of other choices out there. They are off my list, and more than a few others I suspect as well.

But I have a few other reasons also. I hate it too, becuase City Limits was one of my favorite lunch spots. Wendi and Michael are great, but apparently they have sold out.

This is another time where Swimmer and I agree. It actually happens more often than not.

I used to attack this kind of stuff, but I was politely (LOL) requested by most of the Forum to stop my attacks. They were right and I was wrong. I even vowed to stop doing so. I think I did a good job of it. Now others are seeing the results.

Yes, Lamont (once again) I agree with you. Don't recall too many post you have made I did not agree with.

I do honestly hope this business is a success and does well. I think the theme is right on. I hope he (the business owner can hold out) since it will take time to establish a clientel. I do think you have advertised in the right place, but your Forum messages are not proper in my personal opinion. Once again, I could be wrong. I do value Pontoonfisher's opinion too. He is also ofter right on.

I actually am pleased to have this kind of establishment near my lake home and would shop there often. However, this continual "pimping" on a free message board really turns me off. I have passed this place 100 times and thought about going in and looking around but, decided against it because of his forum "antics." I am sincere when I say, "nothing personal boater" but, please, give it a rest.

I leave the definition of DA to your imagination. The guy posts maybe once a week, if that. I don't see what the big deal is. Ya'll get worked up over some stupid stuff.

if he put his "pimping' in the grilling section... and added a recipe to go with it??? Would that make it better? Just a question, as I have "no dog in the hunt".

Crappy : )

I agree with you Toon. I appreciate Boat letting us know what he will have available on the coming weekend. I think some of these posters have waaaaaaaay too much time on their hands.

Just using your post as a reply to. I called him out on this issue a few weeks ago. Haven't seen much since. I also mentioned that it certainly is reasonable to post something that is a real special. I feel that moving locations, adding delivery, expanded menu etc qualifies for that. He does advertise under Fishing Guides. Another category would have been more appropriate. I think jumping on him over this is not called for. My $.02 worth.

Just think it is a little presumptious to think that just because you advertise on this site, it gives you free reign to post your "specials" on this forum. Anywho, I will continue to "drive by" his place of business and buy my groceries elsewhere. Have a great day.

my first experience at the Market was a pleasant one.... the next weekend i went back and asked for 3# of shrimp again (this on Fri) and it was given to me frozen.....haven't been back!

so....if it comes in fresh on Thurs why was it sold to me frozen on Fri?
