A visitor to a grave yard sees a man hugging a monument with tears running down his face. "Why did he die, oh why did he die," he moaned. Thinking to comfort him, the man asked, "Is that your father"? "No", the man said, "It was my wife's first husband."

Reminds me of this old one:
A preacher is standing in front of the congregation. He exhorts the worshipers to contemplate the perfection personified in Jesus, "All of you, each and every one, revel in the pleasures of this life and praise the accomplishments of mere men, but Is there anyone of you who can name even one person who has ever approached the perfection in all aspects as that shown by our Lord Jesus?" No one answers. He asks again "Surely someone has knowledge of such a man, after all we all praise the lives and actions of so many." Still no reaction. "Come now speak up friends!" Finally a meek voice is raised in the rear..."Preacher, I think I have some knowledge of such a man." "Well brother tell us so that we may all know, just who is this man who possesses the perfect qualities of Jesus Christ...tell us now brother!" The man quietly replies "Well. based on what I've heard day in and day out for the last 10 years, I am pretty sure my wife's first husband was such a man."
