I do this every year and have met some of you but I feel we might get a decent response this year. Without nailing anything down just yet I want to get some feedback on where..... Clear Creek has a catfish tournament coming up June 15th and 16th and will have ESPN and Bill Dance among other things. Lakeside Landing - Do they still have the food shack out by the water? Huggies Lakeside - At Woods Marina Lakeside would probably be the center point for no matter where anyone is coming from on the lake and the two other places are just good food but may be a little far fot those comeing from the upper end of the lake. The catfish tournament will have a festival atmosphere and I am going to suggest that LMLPA set up a booth to get new members. Does anyone else have a suggestion? we can also just meet in the middle of the lake and drop anchor. I am out there every weekend and always looking to make new friends on the lake.

Try Grand Isle. It's near Powell's Camp Ground. It's a small island that the owner has graciously fixed up for the community. Enjoy but keep it clean and take home your trash. Look for the Pirate Flag. Arrrrggg!

Grand Isle or Treasure Island is usually covered in toons, we need a place that stays smooth during the day, Clear Creek over to the left before you go under the bridge or on the right after you go under the bridge stays smooth. I see Fr8 tied up toward the dam, I would say anchor and bring an ice chest. I will be around most any weekend except the first weekend in June.

I am 100% fine with a tie up anchor down idea but i think at some point it needs to be a land spot so people that dont want to ride the boat to far can still come. We anchor down somewhere every weekend somewhere between the dam and General Lee and anyone is welcome, we are a fun safe bunch and PG most of the time because half our crew has kids in tow. Also Bama.... beware there is another boat like mine floating around.... have not met him yet but I guess I dont stand out anymore.

I think it should be a land event some members dont have fat wallets and big boats . I know there are a good many of you that live down stream toward the damm but there are some of us up in Lincoln and Riverside.  Thats a long way by boat to your end of the lake
