"Former White House communications director Stephanie Grisham wrapped up a week-long mea culpa on ABC’s “The View” Friday, where she again apologized for her role in the Trump administration and said the former president laughs at his followers in private. “I want those people to know he laughs at them behind closed doors,” Grisham said.

“I want people to know that. I used to be there.”

Grisham says she understands why many people were drawn to Trump, who left office after a mob of rabid supporters — some of whom are now in jail — attacked the U.S. Capitol when he falsely told them the 2020 election had been stolen from him. It was after that Jan. 6 chaos that Grisham left her White House job.

“I know it’s hard to believe, but I believed in him and half the country believed in him, and I think that when you keep attacking me, you’re attacking a lot of people out there who might want an off ramp,” she said.

Over the past several days, Grisham has pleaded her case on “The View,” where the consensus was that it shouldn’t have taken four years of working for both the former first lady and the president to reach her current conclusion that the administration was toxic. She argued that her reputation had been sullied to the point that she didn’t think anyone else would hire her.

Grisham’s claim that Trump is conning his devotees echoed that of SiriusXM personality Howard Stern, who said during the 2020 election that based on his decades of knowing and hosting Trump, he too thinks the Queens-born real estate developer believes his MAGA movement is fueled by suckers.

“One thing Donald loves is celebrities,” Stern said. “He loves the famous.”

Stern recalled Trump being a guest at his 2008 wedding, where he was seated alongside Joan Rivers. And the radio host said he’s been a guest at Trump’s Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida.

“The oddity in all of this is the people Trump despises most, love him the most,” Stern continued. “The people who are voting for Trump for the most part... he wouldn’t even let them in a f---ing hotel. He’d be disgusted by them. Go to Mar-a-Lago, see if there’s any people who look like you. I’m talking to you in the audience.”"

IF he runs and IF he is elected for a second term in office, what will matter is what he does, not what he thinks.  His first term in office had a lot of positives in the first category, and in thus the second category really doesn't matter and won't if he does it again.  Beside that, your deity Obama wasn't exactly pure as the driven snow when it comes to his opinion of the citizens, as evidenced by his guns and bibles statement.

I'm not sure I would put a lot of credence to Stephanie Grisham.  She wrote a tell all book, which likely didn't sell all that well, and now she's trying to convince people she is relevent.  And Howard Stern?  He has said that before, that Trump loves celebrities.  Stern is a pig.

Lets see. The term TDS predates the unfounded claims of election fraud and the happenings on Jan 6 which it seems more and more were orchestrated by #45. So, time to find a new term that is relavent as that one has had its day. Unless of course you believe there was election fraud and that your boy had no role in Jan 6. That's a different delusion. Watched parts of it - saw and heard a butt ton of "I felt" kinda crap about how they interperted what was going on, not a lot of evidence - just feelings.  Saw a lot of finger pointing at Trump regarding "What he did not do" not what he did.

Saw several try to say that Trump did not get out in front of the protest and that he was "responsible" for it.  Remind me who offered up the NG ?  Is the president responsible for the security of DC and the capital?  I think the answer you are looking for are two demonrats - Mayor of DC and Speaker of the House ( who is putting on this sham of a investigation ).

I do hope after the house flips at the midterm that we continue a one sided investigation into why the offer of the NG was turned down and by who.  

So if you still want to go down the road of what people did and said, vs what was not said or done - damn near ever demonrat in congress should be removed for their statements during the summer of violence, get in their faces, support for arsons and looters.  Maybe we can open some hearings into that as well and empty the house of demonrats.

First of all, either you don't understand the way posts are ordered on this forum or you are GF by a different name and had a Freudian slip with your answer.

More importantly you simply ignore what doesn't support your name calling on those of us who are more concerned with WHAT a person does than WHO that person is.  I and others have stated multiple times that we hope Trump doesn't run again and will not vote for him in a primary.  We also have said that if he runs and becomes the nominee we will vote for him because we don't see ANYONE on the Dem side who would do anything but continue Biden's ruination of this country.  So go ahead and ignore the facts if it makes you feel better to ascribe fallacious characteristics to people you have never met.  Won't make it true.
