I refer you to Sarah Palin's post about his statement.  I can not link it here.  It was reasoned, well thought out, especially her description of the sacred nature of every vote.  Bottom line, she understands that he will accept the legitimate result of a legitimate election.  But to concede acceptance on a hypothetical question, not so bright.  

I wonder if Hillary's divulgence of the Nuclear response time in front of millions of viewers was smart.  Doubt we will hear much about that.     Sheesh.......

take your meds and calm down......Al Gore did not state up front he would accept the results......and then he spent about 3 months putting the country thru election agony before he moved on, and many dems to this day have not accepted Bush as the winner.

You are very quick to pick up on the very weak Trump disaster team talking points.  Look in the mirror and ask yourself ''what would Al Gore have said 3 weeks before the election if asked straight up 'will you accept the results of this election' ''.  Now answer yourself.  Al Gore did not contest the election until it was apparent that in FL Bush had a less than 600 vote lead out of 6 million cast (less than 1 vote out of every 10,000...1/12th of one vote per FL pricinct) and under FL law a recount was available.  The Supreme Court shut down the recount and Gore, in the spirit of patriotism and national tranquility, accepted the decision.  THAT, my friend. is way lees that this Axxhole did last night!!!!  You and everybody else on this forum know it as well as I do.

I could not agree more.   Trump supporters who think that his tactic of questioning the legitimacy of US elections is a good idea are foolishly forgetting the precedent this is setting for future elections... and where this could lead.  

It is also a gross violation of conservative thinking:   do not be disloyal or demeaning to the Nation....Maintain the utmost respect for the traditions of the Founders, Honor the traditions of the democratic process.

They have compromised their own values in favor of blindly following Trump....   the Pied Piper of American Politics.

I will be glad when this is over.  I am tired of worrying about the dark underbelly of democracy that Trump is manipulating......

I remember in the run up to the 200p elections after Tim Russert made the famous quote that the election comes down to 3 things, Florida, Florida and Florida I was listening to Rush Limbaugh when a caller asked what do you think will happen if the winner of the popular vote doesn't win the electoral vote. Rush answer was prescient when he answered if Bush looses in that scenario he will congratulate gore and move on,  if algore looses that way he runs straight to court.
