This is what you get......... Hello Fellow Dock Watch Members, We hope everyone is ready to enjoy some beautiful weather this weekend! We are eager to report that we signed up an additional 6 members today and the program is continuing to grow thanks to everyones help. Don't forget the LMLPA meeting next Thurdsay at the Civic Center. It is a wonderful, brief meeting that will help organize our lake clean-up program. Capt Ed Brasher of the Marine has been promoted to Assistant Chief of the PCPD, but will continue to serve in his capacity as a Marine Police Officer. He has been VERY hard at work rewiring the boat, replacing a switch box, changing out the Westec RC spotlight system, and getting the boat sprayed with a new protective coating. Thanks Ed! I also want to take this opportunity to report a theft case to the Watch members: Between 5 PM on March 5th and 9:30 AM or March 6th, person(s) broke into a lock box at Pine Harbor Marina and stole 3 Mitchell Rods (black and red) with a Spirex 2500 reels that were blue in color. They were valued at $510.00. Also stolen from the box were: 1 2500 Gold Series Spirix Reel (black drag) on a mitchell rod (black)-$210.00 1 Spirix Reel on a 1/2 ugly stick (tip black)-$100.00 1 Rear Drag Mitchell Fulcrum Rod with a Spirix 2000 (green)-$120.00 1 Spirix 2000 on an unknown brand rod (black)-$90.00 There was a white male fishing from the east bank that possibly observed them putting the items into the locker. If you happened to see anything suspicious or notice these assortment of rods and reels in a persons possession, at a pawn shop, at a yard sell or trade-day, please contact us ASAP.
