This will be my first winter living on Logan Martin, and I'm curious about making repairs/improvements to the property around the waterline. Are there regulations about what you can and can't do (such as minor dredging or building seawalls)? If so, where could I find them?

Thanks

Any improvements or repairs will require a permit from APCO. I think it a $250 permit call ALA Power shore mgnt for more info

That permit is usually good for a year I believe...... dredging is a nono from what I understand and repairing your seawall is monitored heavily to prevent disturbing the lakebed as much as possible. David McKinney is who I have delt with before - 205-472-0481 he can answer most of your questions

Thanks for the info. From what I can tell, I'm way north of most of you...up just south of I-20 near the mouth of Choccolocco Creek.
