Subject:	How do you change a culture?

For two years, once a week, I was a substitute teacher at racially mixed Woodrow Wilson High School in Portsmouth, Virginia. The mix was nearly equal white/black. The feeder neighborhoods were predominantly blue collar… or ghetto. The majority of students in my math or science classes maintained their behavior, but the misbehaving students dominated the classroom. The race of the malcontents was mostly of one color… thus reinforcing a stereotype.

It is well know that dogs will, at all cost, avoid messing their own bed. Being disruptive in a classroom is not only messing your own "bed", but also the "bed" of the others in the class. In fact, it is theft (you can extend that thought on your own).

The main ingredient in this culture of intellectual suicide is lack of parental care or supervision. In fact, it is a sustaining culture abetted by the nanny-state government. Lack of parental participation in providing nurture and participation in their education deprives those children of a compass to navigate life. Lack of enforced discipline in children leads to lack of self-discipline in adulthood.

An untrained, unrestrained dog will soil and destroy its own home... eventually, even its own bed. The energy and poop has to go somewhere. By the way, you would (not) be surprised to see the number of permanently chained up/fenced up dogs in the poverty areas (you can also extend that thought on your own).

Rage, unrestrained fertility, unfettered masculinity, lack of citizenship, culture of government dependency… all part of an unsuccessful lifestyle which drags down a people… and a culture.

Education and citizenship – Who is primarily responsible for that? If anything, my prejudices are being reinforced.

Totally agree with your post.  The people I have real sympathy for are the black citizens who have spent their lives rising above the ghetto to become great people with functional families.  Now they will be thrown back into the ghetto crowd of thugs only because of their color.  

One of the most significant statements made to me when I was growing up came from a church youth counselor from “up north”.  As a teenager (early 60s’) from the Black Belt with many black friends, I asked why all the mess was going on in the cities.  Simple statement explained it all:  “Southerners like the individuals, Yankees like the race, but don’t like the individuals.”

My friends back then had goals to achieve, families to back them up, etc, etc.  Thanks to liberal idiot policies today we can see clearly what  effect those policies have had on black society, AND, we can see the same effects on all races who fall for da gubment plan.  Take a look at the “white” race and you will clearly see failure coming.

The purpose of the "Great Society" legislation was to make us all equal.  Equally starving and fighting.

Perhaps the new slogan should be "you loot we shoot".  Permitting looting and takeover of the Police station is teaching an entire generation of primates that this is OK. I wonder if the insurance companies are using their Force Majeure clauses yet?

On the flipside, this cop had 12 incidents of brutality. Looks like number 13 was a murder if what we see is what really happened.

I am all about justice, even if the guy with the badge committed the crime.  Expedite his incarceration. These people just want to see justice, even if passing a fake 20 started it all.

I disagree with the riots, burnings, looting being about “justice”.  This is about rebellion, led and funded by liberal idiots.  Even the MN Gov said it’s not about justice.

I just watched a video of two young black guys pointing out a pallett of bricks left on a random coener in downtown Dallas.  They were upset that outsiders were coming in to thier towns to start riots.  I wish I could post links.  I saw it embedded in an article on RedState.com. Proof these riots are staged and paid for.

Very interesting to me that all the liberal dimokrap mayors, etc., are spouting forth about white supremacists are part of the group of thugs.  Yes, there are whites in the news shots, but to think they would fight along side  the liberal thugs is beyond belief.  Sure the organization has labeled some of the white thugs as such to make good news clips.  Why would enemies riot together on the same side?

What I read is that White Supremists are talking on the internet about going.  They are not fighting on the same side.  Just like the extreme left anarchists that are inciting the violence, it's in the interest of right supremeist groups to keep things stirred up too.  The whole thing is getting out of hand, and more lives are going to be taken.

I read that too.  What the politicians are trying to do is blame anyone except their own mad constituents.  Read an article that said 12 of the 18 arrested Thur and Fri are local Minn. scum, and also read a good report on politicians trying to cover their stupid, liberal butts.
