Ah, that may well be true. After all, we have to know who is "safe" to talk to, and who might kill you.  I've heard some pretty wild things before but this safety pin thing is a hoot. It will be interesting if they do stop.  I doubt the election has changed their collective philosophies.  If all three stooges stop posting  at the same time,  the payments have stopped.

I worked with a guy whose daughter, who graduated from Carnegie-Mellon, worked for Green Peace. Pay wasn't good, and being arrested while protesting was a career plus.

I don't necessarily agree with you that I have a lot of time on my hands. My main reason for even looking at the forum is to see what might be of interest under Lake Martin Topic, Boat Maintenance, and Lake Martin Fishing. From there I go to Off-Topic usually to see what kind of idiotic things are on the "menu" for the day. When I do choose to comment it is usually about something I have strong feelings about rather than to try and strike a "nerve" with someone. Yes, I do get a little sarcastic some time but it is usually if someone  has struck a "nerve". By the way it might be a little more fun if we could get the "Jokes" section alive again.

I watched Fox tonight... Carlson, Meghan, and O'Reilly. Going to be interesting to see if Carlson can replace Hume and stay on the air. He tends to try and interrupt his guest and then shuts them off. At least O'Reilly will say...you have the last word...what say you?

I enjoyed the segment on O'Reilly with James Patterson the author. I have read quite a few of his books...My life seems to evolve around either posting the truth or reading Patterson.... Oh yea, making a few dollars, too

I watched the same three. I like Carlson and hope he makes it. Agree, he is having a little problem controlling his guests, but we must remember he has alloted a fixed amount of time for each guest and it seemed at times they wanted to take control or maybe was not responding to Carlson's questions in a clear and concise manner. He needs a little time to settle in to his new position. I am going to miss Hume.
