Does anyone know if the county wide Sunday beer sales passed? Went to local paper the Outlook website but as usual nothing but 3week old info there. They never disappoint me with lack of relevant current articles on the web. They did manage to get the Trump and Duerr wins posted. I u Der stand there has to be a delay between print and digital posting but it is like they post some things online but only as an afterthought and then they leave it long after it is relavent. The forum is a better resource for current events IMO.

in that article you mentioned on Trump / Duerr it confirms that the resolution passes, about 1/2 way down:

Very good. Thanks guys. Obviously I didn't read it but the headline told me all I needed to know, or so I thought. If I were editor/publisher I would have considered the Sunday sales issue as both current and historically significant to warrant its own story. I'm not a big drinker so personally it means little as far as having an impact on me personally but I am sure it will make a difference to the stores and marinas especially around the lake. Also will greatly improve the ability of city leaders to recruit chain restaurants. Whee!
