The NC GOP posted a tweet on its official account whining about Tim Kaine wearing a lapel pin of the flag of Honduras, where he was once a Catholic missionary, but no American flag.  The lapel pin he wore was the Military's pin worn by the families of those in active service...Blue Star Family pin!  Kaine has an active duty marine as a son!!  Sorry folks, your new savior is not entitled to wear such a pin!  A retired admiral said correctly last night that Donald Trump is not even qualified to polish John McCain's shoes.  He is similarily unqualified when it comes to any Blue Star parent!

This Putin wannabe and his supporters are not what America needs or deserves.

From today's Atlantic Monthly:

"Mareike Aden, a German reporter, asked whether a President Trump would recognize Crimea as Russian and lift sanctions on Moscow imposed after its 2014 annexation of the Ukrainian territory. The candidate’s reply: “Yes. We would be looking at that.”

That response is likely to spread much cheer through Russia—already buoyant about the prospect of a Trump victory in November. But it could spread at least an equal amount of dread in the former Soviet republics. In a matter of two weeks, the man who could become the next American president has not only questioned the utility of NATO, thereby repudiating the post-World War II security consensus, he also has seemingly removed whatever fig leaf of protection from Russia the U.S. offered the post-Soviet republics and Moscow’s former allies in the Eastern bloc."

OK, Trump supporters.  Is this the position you want your President to take when Russia invades & annexes a European country?

You just asked a reasonable question.  DO NOT hold your breath until you get a reasonable answer!

I'm really not up on things in that area.  What exactly have we don so far about the Russian invasion and takeover?

we have imposed strong fiscal sanctions which, by almost all accounts, is seriously pinching the Russian economy!  Is it enough?  He!! no, but it is about all that is available to us short of war.  Do you want war?  If Trump recognizes the take over as legal, the sanctions will have no reason to continue and Putin will be forever grateful to his junior partner.

Your hypocrisy is showing.  You asked for proof in the pandering thread below and I provide it but you ignore it.  Not that I ever expected anything different but to deride others for the same thing in such close proximity in time and space makes a perfect opportunity to point out what an invincible retard you are. Of course,  once again the dimokrap powers that be heard the backlash and have now invited a token Leo to speak. A nice liberal toe the party line LEO I'm sure but hey,  it gives them a photo op so it's OK.

I guess we could give them some more Uranium and hope they self destruct.  Weak leadership and knowing the "lines in the sand" were just turtles heading back to water got us here.  Not sure what will stop the push.  Maybe Kerry will get them to quit using A/C and all will be fine.

But I jest, and digress.   Do you know a sarcastic remark when you hear one?  "What do you mean wipe it clean, like with a cloth?"

The irony here is that there is no way the Russians could have hacked the basement server, so was reported, but they are assuming the Russians hacked the DNC server.  LIke with Snowden we are so much more worried about Who Done IT? than with analyzing the info that was leaked.  This is the tip of the iceberg.  We are a country of mean, ill spirited crooks.  The system is rigged, and back stabbing and shady deals are the norm.  IRS, DOJ, govt that shot the western farmer, clinton foundation, State Dept.  From the little that has been leaked we should be furious or scared.

Face it.  A shakeup is needed.   Best guy for it?  Maybe not.  More of the same with the laughing lady.  You bet.  I refuse to side with all the corruption, racism, anti religious, blatantly unfair politics of normal.  And there are both donkeys and elephants in that room.  That is why I say this will be the Greatest Political Victory Ever if djt wins.  He will have beaten both parties.

Everything I suffer from can be corrected and/or controlled with mess for sure,  BUT YOU CAN'T FIX STUPID!  No amount of men's or education can do that. Well maybe President Trump can,  after all,  obammy claimed he was going to stop the rising oceans and must have because they are the same level as when he was installed in the oval office. They must have turned the air conditioners off just in time.

Is this the response Trump supporters want their President to take on the Russian invasion of Ukraine?

No, no, no.   I haven't put anybody on an "ignore' status.   You just didn't answer the question about Trump's position on the Russian invasion & occupation of Ukraine.

As far as the DNC hack goes, every expert reporting on it says it has Russian fingerprints on the hack.... I don't think there is any doubt about that.  And I'm not suggesting that Trump & Putin are conspiring together... just that it is incredibly unwise for a US presidential candidate to even suggest that he would be happy to get Russian assistance in his election.   Not good political judgement..... but certainly he wasn't joking....he was again shooting his mouth off without thinking.

And that sums up the problem with Donald Trump.   He shoots his mouth off, counting on his supporters to admire him anyway and say "he says what he thinks".....

"Shooting his mouth off without thinking".  When did you get a pass into his brain.  I used to have a lot of respect for your opinions but I fear you have become blinded by ideology.  You and yours decry the methods DJT used to gain his wealth.  Were they illegal?  Has HRC always operated within the law?  She may not have been convicted but she always had a bevy of highly paid lawyers to ensure that perception was debunked.  I just can't get my brain around choosing someone who has skated perilously close to felonious activity, opposed to someone who worked within the law, while self serving, still within the law.

Introducing facts,  logic and reason into a discussion with liberals. Where has that ever gotten anybody? That's why I just entertain myself by bashing them with vitriol. It's lots more fun and I have lots of time on my hands till the grandkids start back to school and my babysitting days are gone till next year.

I'm just using common sense and listening to your guy.  Are you thinking Trump's business success is to be admired?..Does that include Trump University?  How about using bankruptcy to shaft other businesses, or simply threatening smaller businesses with court action delays to bargain his debts downward?.

Blinded by ideology?  More likely I'm trying to support an ideology that says we need leaders with vision and experience, dedicated to the public good... not a game show host steeped in his own vanity and directing his followers to follow him because "I have a really good brain"...but doesn't like to read.  Why you admire him is puzzling to me.

But back to the thread:. What do you think about his statement that he would "look into" forgiving Russia for invading and annexing the Crimea?  Are you going to give him a pass on that one?

""Shooting his mouth off without thinking".  When did you get a pass into his brain."" Are you suggesting that he does think befre he shoots his mouth off? Trump, when he speaks off the cuff comes, across as dumb or dumber than Bush 43. You have to wonder who he is sharing the briefings with  that he receives as a candidate. maybe, his beautiful buddy Putin.

You do not have a candidate "dedicated to the public good".  These are two tough choices.  Business laws are there for businesses to operate within.  Concentrate on the tens of thousands of jobs created and still in operation before you dump the guy.  Check out what he pays for female employees, check to see how many female exutives he has.  How does he treat the low end workers, which he, by the way, would not call low end.  Check it out.  As compared to shady deals with raucous countries that all of a sudden donate millions to the MOST WORTHY clinton foundation.  What do you know about the Russian uraniam deal.

And I think filing bankruptcy with one or more of the many business is ten thousand times better than a deal with Iran.  What were they thinking?  Oh, they were not, are not thinking.

What did we do when Russia came into Crimea?  Now yall be good now.  But now that it has happen then "Yes, we need to look at that".  Are you going to give your guy and lady a pass for their inaction and letting Crimea be overtaken?  Clinton is four more years of the last eight, only worse.  Do you pay your daughter over 800,000 to work for a FOUNDATION?

It is beyond me how anybody can support Hilary. Would someone do me the favor and list any of her significant accomplishments during her tenure as Secretary of State? It is painful to listen to all the "accolades" being bestowed on her which couldn't be further from the truth.
