Can someone from Lake Watch tell us where we stand on this issue? We noticed another trailer is now behind the fence - more raw sewage going in the lake?

Keep calm and swim on. I would bet money there is as high  a concentration of ecoli in your bathroom as there is 100ft from those trailers. The situation needs to be rectified just out of fairness but it most certainly does not represent an emergency. All of dadeville waste used to dishcharge at that same location during and after heavy rain and not one person got sick, much less died. Most folks could grow ecoli from their toothbrush.

Laker, thanks for your continued interest.  And to set the record straight, I'm not an expert on this, nor probably is Lifer, but he is correct...this is not a public health emergency.  A lot of water has to go over the dam (no pun intended) before the issue is resolved.

I've spoken to County Health officials and am confident they are doing what is necessary to investigate.  So far, they have conducted two "trace dye" tests with negative results.  They have also been in direct contact with appropriate property owners.  Next is to conduct bacterial tests, and that should take place in the next couple of weeks.

So for now, let's be patient and let the process work.  If it doesn't, then we go to Plan B.
