200,000 more jobs than the previous peak in Dec 2007

Archie,

Look at this graph when you have the chance.  By now you must know that the unemployment "rate" is simply a fudge factor that nobody with a any economic sense and intellectual acumen takes seriously.  Manufacturing jobs only added what is called crisis level 10k jobs with non-durable manufacturing LOSING 7k jobs.  This is where the middle class jobs are.  They are vanishing before our eyes and I challenge you to show me any statistics that prove otherwise.  Bottom line is part-time America employed in  slightly greater than minimum wage jobs must equal economic vitality in your eyes and those of your fellow libs.   20% of American households are jobless, meaning that neither parent or child is working.  How can you possibly look at this economy with rose colored glasses when the important figure to look at is the labor force participation rate for 16 and over which you see above.  You can't fudge that statistic like you can the unemployment rate.  But we in reality know that the unemployment rate is much closer to 20%.

I agree with Lifer that it is a waste of time to use logic with Archie.  He is economically illiterate. He probably thinks 92 million people not working is actually a good thing.......they can do fun stuff and sleep in.  Archie spends most of his time in the Jokes forum which is of course where he belongs.  I have come to believe that responding to his stupid posts is a waste of valuable intellect because he is invincibly ignorant. The last time there were jobs numbers above 200k (what was that, 6 months ago?!?!?) he also demonstrated his stupidity and just ran back to the Jokes form when I decimated him with facts, logic and reason.  Not going to feed the drive by troll on these dumb posts.  He will need to actually post something that makes sense to get me to respond.

If Obama was Archy’s CPA… Archy would not know he was bankrupt until just before the bank foreclosed on his home. 

Archy’s numbers, as recited in the loyal-to-the-pretender MSM, look like everything is coming up roses. But the real numbers expose that they’re just weeds. The garden is choking… there will be a dearth of fruit and vegetables. 

...and the hog trough is leaking… the hogs won’t know it until the farmer needs bacon.
