About the fact that the Democratic Party in South Carolina is trying to overturn the will of the people when they chose Alvin Greene as their nominee for the US Senate?
Seems just because they were caught with their pants down and surprised by a guy with a familiar name (Al Greene) who took 59% of the primary vote, they are searching for any way possible to declare the election void.
Whaddaya say about that GF?

Apparently they came to their senses and today upheld the primary results. Duh.

Hodgiee, I guess you feel better that they will allow Al to run. Now, he has to continue on the path to throw incumbants out and allow the little man to come to DC.

GF, with your superior intellect and vast liberal experience, would you please explain how good ole Al won the election?

I would suggest, based on my superior intellect, that since Republican Jim DeMint is such an overwhelming favorite in November, there was little interest in the Democratic primary race. According to a poll, only 4% recognized the name of his opponent Vic Rawls. Voters went into the booth without a choice and often vote for the first name at the top who , in this case, was Greene.
Blacks typically spell Green with an e at the end so black voters likely identified with the last name. However, Greene took 74 percent of votes in mostly white Greenwood County and only 52 percent in mostly black Orangeburg County. Maybe, the fact he is a veteran carried some weight.
There could have been a problem with the old touch screens that were used.
I do believe someone gave him the money to enter the race.
Now, imagine if he beats DeMint in November as voters decide to throw the incumbent out!!!!!
