Mesha Mainor, a member of the Georgia House of Representatives, will switch from Democrat to Republican.  She cites several reasons but the most telling quote from her is the following:

"The most dangerous thing to the Democrat Party is a black person with a mind of their own".

Maybe the folks in her district will begin to think and question, or at least those who aren't on the dole.

Unfortunately, I believe she will be looking for a new job after the next election.  Solidly blue district in city of ATL....
