That number seems alarming considering current statewide numbers. Seems extreme.

Two were from Lee county and three chambers.
One was 51 another was 80. Article did not know details of other three.
19 CV patients there as of yesterday.
Does seem excessive. Would like to know pedigree of cases

This is just my opinion. I think the area started testing so late in the game that people were much sicker when they were diagnosed. Most of the people that are dying have compromised immune systems or other serious medical problems before they got the virus. I'm surprised there aren't more. Read an article today that listed a lot of nursing homes where the virus has been diagnosed so I imagine we will see that death number climb. I wonder if they are under-reporting the deaths in Alabama, but that is just skeptical me. If people don't start social distancing, you will see a lot more sick people.

Played Grand National last weekend and Stillwaters this weekend and there were tons of Koreans playing. I do think that as long as they haven't traveled home they are no different than the rest of us. Most of them are from South Korea which has apparently not been as impacted as other countries in Asia.

South Korea has done far more testing than most countries. They are able to trace the afflicted to the people that they came in contact with too.
I don't know about physical distancing and golf. I guess people figure if they are in the open air, it's going to be okay. Did you find it a problem?

Not sure where but the latest is 9 total deaths in Alabama. Hard to imagine 5 of the 9 were in Opelika.

Three of the eamc deaths were ladies from the same church.
An entire floor is dedicated to virus cases. Had max of 38 at one point. I think capacity is 40 something

They are doing a lot of things to maintain distancing. Only one person per cart versus two (unless its spouses) and they aren't putting strangers together which is nice. The restaurant is closed and the pro shop is cleaning like crazy. Also, the guys that pull your bags and place them on the cart are not allowed to touch anything. They also wipe down every cart very carefully although we wiped ours down as well before we put our stuff in it. In essence, I felt pretty comfortable that it wasn't a risk.
