We have Furlong.  $54 for 3 months of monitoring.  They installed the system as house was being built.  My only complaint it that they charge a lot (in my opinion) for a house call, and include the time they spending traveling to your location.  Some of my neighbors have ADT and they seem satisfied with them.

Regardless of provider, who could or would respond.  Law enforcement, neighbors, you??  No simple solution.  If you are at your residence, use Smith and Wesson.

We use Furlong and pay $84 every three months for monitoring and is guaranteed never to increase unlike some other companies.
