Today the Polar was finished at the Parrots Foot Studios.
If you have this model of boat, watch for gel coat cracking.
You may have been hit by a smooth ..........

We found what my health problem was and I feel I am back to 100% Very much alive.
Stage 4 Hypothyroidism. Who knew it could make you think you were about to die!

All in all, happy to know Lord willing I shall be around a bit longer.

Very nice work.  Don't forget about my Polar CC.  It is not in as bad of shape as the one you just finished. If need be I can put it on the trailer and bring it to your shop.

I didn't realize you were feeling so poorly, but I'm glad that they were able to figure it out.  When your thyroid is messed up, you are messed up.

Thanks folks.

Yes Hound. I had no idea what was wrong. All the things I thought it may have been was wrong.
the last 2 months I have been laying low... I thought I was dieing. But it took about 2 weeks of medacation and I now feel so much better almost back to my old self.

GF,,, Thank you for your acknowledgment you were a client. Only 10% of my work gets posted.. For what ever reason some people don't want any one to know they came to the Parrots Foot Studios. Not sure why.

I also have had people come to me and ask why it took so long and I have been happy to rip the tape and paper off there boats and tell them to get it the He.l out of my studio...... What ever the reasons. Every one on this site has been the best to me and my business. As John said in his article,,, I am an artist not a business woman.........

Great job. I know what that boat looked like up close. Anyone who doesn't bring their boat to you is crazy.

NC2, so glad to hear you finally know what's been making you feel so bad.  That can be a scary thing.  Glad you are feeling better too.  We'll have to get together soon and catch up.  It's been an extremely busy summer/fall for me.

Please e-mail me all the knowledge you have on Gelcoat replacement. Ha The boat looks great! The lift is really nice, I may have to look into one of those someday. Glad you are doing better. I am just trying to get my building closed in with metal, the plastic I put up a couple of years ago is falling off and it is getting cold working at night. Houseboat
