We have had a Crane bird hang out in our slough for years taking advantage of the fishing opportunities. But this spring it has developed a new taste. The boss and I have each witnessed the bird catching and eating a chipmunk. It spends more time up in the yards now than at the waters edge looking for fish.

Talented bird. Do you rent it out?

I have one that hangs out at my place but he seems to only fish in the lake. Maybe you could send yours over to train mine. Lord knows I have enough chipmunks around.

Had no idea they were carniverous. We have one that periodically show up on our dock and watches the fish over our monster light.
