spotted bass are schooling up and breaking some on the surface, caught most on a 1/2 oz cast master spoon moving fast. verticle jigging was slow. Caught some off long points sustended about 15 feet deep on cranks. Striped bass are down about 30 feet between the dixie area and bridge

Caught some spots schooled up on points. Throw a deeper diving crankbait and jerk bait. Also have seen son shad moving towards the back of creeks so look for what the baits doing. Caught some in the backs of creeks and pockets off docks with shallow crankbait sand jigs.

surface water temp this past weekend was 77-78 deg

I've had a lot of luck topwater the last few weeks especially around Camp Alalisco and Paces Point. 2-3lbs spots fishing a pearl white super fluke or walking a super spook jr. in bone white or shad color. Caught 23 last Thursday from daylight to noon.

Wow!! You guys doing better than I am. Couple

nice spots mid afternoon real deep off

rocky points. Out before sunrise this morning

and not a bite! Fished KVD XD, rattle trap and

Buzz Bait. Have taken the boat so limited range with

the Hobie.  But real nice out this morning.
