On the recommendation of several forum members in an old thread, I bought one of the automatic (magic) siphon hoses on ebay.  Jiggle the copper end up and down 5 or 6 times and that baby is delivering gas to your seadoo in double time...will drain a 5 gal. can quick...and you don't have to spit out all that gas you didn't swallow.  A small step stool works great to elevate the can above the gas cap of your boat

Welcome to the super siphon fan club.  I keep a molded resin table on the deck for fueling purposes and it serves double duty as a beverage table.

I have better luck if I don't hold it by the base, but instead about 6" up your hose.

Why would you be holding his hose anywhere?  And besides, statistics tell us that at 6" you would be grabbing air an awful lot.  :)

If I buy the hose does that mean I have to buy the seadoo?  Those things already drive me crazy

You could also use it for siphoning off that vat of home brew...
