Not really surprised. You can't lose your best starter and best reliever and last at this level. No matter how good a manager you have. Great year though and we have great prospects. I like the team.
I am a Braves fan, through and through. Had trepidations how we'd fair against the Dodgers given our losr of numerous starters thru the year. Go Braves! Looking forward to next year already.
Gotta give LA credit, they had one heck of a second half. They may be poised to make it to the World Series.
...enjoyed watching them this year but we got to find somebody to play 2nd base and do a better job of coaching Gattis up as an outfielder or relegate him to pinch hitting and occasionally behind the plate...we have the best shortstop in either league...

Ditto.Uggy is OK defensively but an offensive zero. Need a good #2 slot hitter there. I think Gattis will end up as a great DH in the American league. Braves will do some trading around this winter I'll bet.
Lots of glass three quarters full in the above comments.
I see it differently, this teams strength is obviously pitching. Having two regulars hit .180 for the long haul is embarrassing, both should be in triple A or out of baseball. You can find .200 hitters off scrap heaps, not paying tens of millions...
Nice (not great) players at SS, 1B, RF, balance of lineup is really tough and need fixing.
