Hound, one thing you must learn is that if you CHOOSE to live in Alabama you must pick sides. I got a free pass while I was in the Air Force (ostensibly because the Air Force chose for me to be here), but once retired it was a different matter.

In 2006, Namath enrolled in the University of Alabama's External Degree program (he was 15 credits shy of graduating when he left Alabama in 1965). He earned his B.A. degree in interdisciplinary studies on December 15, 2007 from the University of Alabama at the age of 64.

I'm in a bad way there. DH went to Troy, but all his brothers and sister went to Alabama. Two of my neighbors played for Bear Bryant.
When Auburn plays, we root for Auburn. When Alabama plays, we root for Alabama. When they play each other... I think I go shopping.
