Hate to be skeptical but we have been there, done that and have yet to see any results from these types of investigations.  Look at all the people that defied a GOP congressional committee and not even a slap on the wrist.  But defy a Dem-led one and people get indicted.  We do not have equal justice in this country and in my view nothing will come of these investigations other than a bunch of "Republicans pounce" headlines from the media.  I'm serious, they could prove beyond any doubt that DJ Brandon was the big guy, they could document the movement of money, the favors granted and all the corruption and graft and nothing will happen.  And even if by some miracle DOJ does convene a grand jury and there are indictments, as we saw with Durham there is no possible jury pool in DC that will vote to convict a Dem regardless of the evidence.

It is all for show and to throw some red meat to the base in the attempt to say they are doing something.  But what we want is justice and that is not going to happen.  Even if they vote to impeach DJ he will surely be acquitted in the Senate and unlike the narrative for Trump it will be presented by the media to low information voters as complete vindication and a travesty of justice and proof that the GOP is out of touch with the real problems of Americans.......basically a 180 degree shift from all the other events.  And then Democrats will scream abortion, racism, homophobia, eliminating social security and all their go to lies and low information voters will do what they did in 2022....vote on emotion and not facts, logic, reason, rational thought and basic common sense.

Each of you may be correct to a certain extent and only time and events will corroborate or debunk those asessments.  But let's see how effective the Biden admin is over the next two years, having to defend against multiple allegations of wrongdoing, how well those allegations are supported by facts, and how well Dementia Joe can do when he is on the hot seat.  Who knows, maybe the Repubs will grow a set overnight....probably not but they now have the opportunity.

What we don't need is a Manchin-proof Senate, although I am not so sure Walker has much of a chance, especially against an opponent funded by laundered taxpayer dollars.

The Right will spend 2 years trying to play GOTCHA politics rather than actually trying to accomplish something positive in the House that they can run on in 2024. Sending Hunter to prison is not a winning stradegy.

And then Right will scream all their lies and the low information voters who attend Trump rallies and stormed the Capitol to overthrow the Government will do what they did in 2022....vote on emotion and not facts, logic, reason, rational thought and basic common sense.

I'd be happy if they just got back to legislating and stopped acting like a two bit private detective.  I don't mind seeing Biden and his son being taken down, because I am convinced Biden is corrupt through and through.  

But while they are investigating, they are not doing what they are paid to do.  And do you think we will ever see a report on the January 6th investigation, or havng spent millions will it go by way of the Mueller report?  

You notice Nancy is not retiring?  82 and she still plans to hang out and use her "influence".  I'm not sure we will be better off with McCarthy.

She was just reelected to another 2 year term. It would not be very classy to run, win, and retire.

The Right, rather than discuss what they stand for going forward, announce today going after Biden. Thd country is tired of these investigations. Let's face it, both parties have been quilty of it. I hope they find some dirt on Joe and he decides not to run in 2024. Both Joey and Donnie need to move on. But, Donnie says he wants it again...I can't see him increasing his base inorder to win.

I can't imagine what Donnie can do to actually win. He could brag about the MAGA loyalty...how they stormed the White House to keep him illegally in power. How they broke windows, climbed the wall, and built a gallows on his behalf. That memory will serve him well as he seeks electoral votes.

The Right should be presenting ideas they want to push forward to help all the country as they like to brag they are now the party of the people. Sen Scott of Florida is a bad person to be a leader. The guy is lucky he avoided a long prison sentence. Before becoming FL Gov, his Company Hosital Corp of America was fined 1.7 billion for fraud. He said he was not aware of it. Yet, right.

Trump is no longer President and he caused the Republicans from winning all the seats they should have.  Trump is history in the Republican Party.  So you can get over TDS now.  He may run for President again, and he will have a small following no doubt, but he won't win the nomination or be elected President.  

Nancy said on a news program last Sunday that even if she wasn't in a leadership position, she still "has a lot of influence" that she would use.  I think she had the perfect excuse to retire stating that  she was concerned about her husband.  I think she is addicted to have her butt kissed and the sound bite.  Or maybe she wants to do some more insider trading.  

As far as I'm concerned Schumer, and McConnell should retire too.

Not voting for him in the primary is far different than "not supporting him".  As I said, if he is the nominee he will have my full support.  I just prefer other options for reasons that have nothing to do with his policies.  I am of the opinion that we will be more likely to win in 2024 with another candidate as long as said candidate has similar policies as Trump did.  If we have another McCain or Romney we are most certainly going to lose.  If we have Trump I am inclined to believe that unless the Dem candidate is as bad as Hillary we will also lose.  If we have a candidate that can attract Trump loyalists and enough Independents we have a chance at winning above the margin of fraud.  So my view has more to do with winning than it is "not supporting Trump". 

You however would vote for Atilla the Hun or worse if he was running against Trump......me not so much.....actually not at all. I cannot fathom that the Democrat base would nominate anyone that wouldn't double down on Biden's abject failures.  That is a defining feature of the left....believe things that are not true, implement policies that ruin everything and then when faced with failure...double and triple down.
